Pete’s decaf tastes really good- especially for decaf- and the grind works well in a chemex for pour over. Note that the water process they describe to decaffeinate is not *Swiss* water process, which is the one that removes 99.9% of caffeine, so if you are caffeine sensitive, you may find you’re more stimulated after a cup of this than with other brands of decaf.

The best tasting, zero caffeine, medium/dark roast coffee you can buy. My husband is caffeine sensitive so having a decaf blend that is so smooth and flavorful that he can enjoy is a huge plus. While the blend is not strong in terms of caffeine, the medium roast brings out the bold flavors you look for in a delicious coffee.

I am a huge coffee lover and drink several cups (starbucks dark roast Sumatra) daily. I decided to switch to decaf for some of my cups as it was getting to be too much caffeine. Pete’s tastes SO good, I can’t believe it’s decaf. It is rich, smooth and ‘thick’-not watery like some other decaf coffees I have tried. The only downside is the price ($36 for 10oz) and the fact that it was about to expire when I received it. (I took one star off for that because for the price I am paying it should last longer than 1.5 weeks from date of delivery).
