Just what I needed
The D-Link Powerline adapters have always been some of my favorite devices and this is no exception. It does exactly what it claims to do. The extra ports on the adapter are very useful and connects readily with the Mini-adapters. The only issue is that it is aging technology and slower than the newer versions currently on the market. It was, however, just what I needed to pipe the internet from the front room to the office where my computers are.

Eh. It works, but it's not great.
I bought this because wireless coverage in my house sucks and I didn't want to crawl under the house stringing cable. It provides a stable connection but the speeds are equivalent or worse than wi-if (~30 Mbs).

so you can imagine the wifi sucks pretty bad
My girlfriends computer doesnt have a wifi card that lets it use the 5.0 wifi network at our house. Now there are 6 of us in this house, and we have the farthest room away from the router, so you can imagine the wifi sucks pretty bad. We tried a bunch of the USB dongles, but those would drop out in minutes. Then i heard about powerline and looked into it. Most sets are waaaay more expensive than this one but this was cheap and i took the plunge and i love it. Plugged it in right out of the box and it worked perfectly. It also has 4 ethernet ports so i can plug our TV in the room in also. If youre looking for a cheap way to get better internet, this is your best bet.

Good of you need something to upgrade your less dependable connection
I bought this to upgrade and replace my old wireless bridge. At first I was skeptical. I thought "power line? That's a crock! How are power lines going to transmit data? Well finally I got proved wrong.I don't know how it gets done but it does it. I used to only get about 10- 20Mbps. Now I get a steady 25Mbps, the speed I signed up for. I hardly got even that with wireless. I couldn't really use Ethernet wire, it was just not a possibly. This power line thing was my last hope. It looks like it might be what I need.Active time: four daysAlthough I've only been using this for a few days so far so good. =)

good for browsing the internet but not streaming movies
i purchased this for 2 printers that were placed on top of a cabinet and were not near a network port, just an electrical outlet. Since these were just printers, there was no need for high bandwidth connectivity, plus I did not want to spend too much money.- this fit perfectly. It was cheap and it was plug and play, both printers had network connectivity right away when plugged into the network switch and surprisingly fast. I plugged in a laptop just to test performance, good for browsing the internet but not streaming movies, movies I tested were a bit choppy - I guess this depends on your electrical wiring. For my needs - this was perfect. Arrived on time.

Quick, easy way to speed up home internet
It does the job well. There are faster options but I trust the D-Link brand and will stay with them if I upgrade.
