Q: What color should the product be? What I received is more blue-green than in the product image and has a putrid almost fishy odor.

You’ve got the right stuff. This isn’t Tide. It’s designed to remove lead, along with other contaminants.

Q: What should this smell like? Does it expire? Been using for years, but last few bottle smelled strange and unpleasant.

My bottle dated 210128 ( 28 Jan 2021) that I just opened smells a little funky. It's not a detergent. It's a heavy metal remover, so it's not going to smell great unless they add some perfume to it. I'd say if the color still looks good and it's not looking separated, it's still good. Should be a clear blue green, kind of like windshield washing fluid.

Q: Can i wash toddler clothes with this?

I see no reason why you couldn’t wash toddler clothes with this. The real question is why would you need to use a detergent intended to remove lead and other contaminants from toddler clothing.

Q: Can you mix this with regular laundry detergent or does it have to be used on its own only?

Yes! I did and then I made sure I washed the washer out after just to be extra safe considering I have little ones :) .
