It's copper wire, has good insulation and is grouped together. That along with the low cost made it exactly what I needed. Wired my whole home theater with it and everything sounds great so I am guessing it is doing what wire is supposed to do. Easy to work with, didn't see any defects, looks good. Can't complain.

This is the best cost effective wire for home theatre. You cannot beat this quality. I ran 200 ft of this wire for my 11.2 system . The sound is perfect. The red and black wire is easy to identify for - and +. Also to wire looks like it’s pure copper even though it says CCA?
