Burts Bees 100% Natural Mattifying Powder Foundation, Sand - 0.3 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I have had several people tell me how good my skin looks since I started using this. I does look clear and even with just a hint of a glow. So easy to use, just a quick swipe with a brush. I am so glad I tried this!

I've been using this foundation for a few days and I have to say I really like it. I have a very fair skin tone so I bought the lightest shade. It just blends right into my natural color. It's not cakey or anything, and gives very even coverage. My skin was starting to get clogged from the other foundation I was using so I wanted to switch to something more natural. I definitely like it better. You'll need concealer with it if you have any darker spots, it will fade them out but it won't cover them completely.

I have eosinophilac asthma and have to be careful with exposure to allergens. Before I started using the Burts Bees pressed powder, I tried brand after brand of pressed powder compacts and noticed that my asthma was triggered within minutes of applying the powder to my face…sneezing and itchy nose and coughing and wheezing! I checked the compacts to see what they had in common and noticed that they ALL contained TALC! I did a little research about talc and asthma and what do you know! Talc is not only dangerous for a normal set of lungs to inhale but can be DEADLY to an asthmatic! I collected each and every compact as well as blush/bronzers and threw them all in the trash. Then, of course, I researched cosmetics without talc and with natural ingredients. That’s when I found Burts Bees. My daughter says she’s been using BB products for years because of the all natural ingredients but never thought about the talc in most cosmetics as being a trigger for asthma. Since I stopped using the talc ridden cosmetics and started using the BB powder and blush I no longer sneeze or itch after I put on my face lol.

I love these cover ups. Goes on smooth and even. Every other type of makeup I would wear would feel cakey or Settle in the cracks or make my skin itch and break out. Burts Bees really hit the nail on the head with these cover-ups, they are amazing. And the only face makeup that I can wear. Due to these being so amazing. I have decided to switch all my other cosmetic products to the Burts bees brand. And all of their stuff I love. Just recently started using their mascara and their face firming lotion as well. Which are the best products I have ever found in my entire life. The reason I decided to try them is because they are a cruelty free and organic. I am now learning that these products are the best. I would recommend trying these to any one and any of their other products. 10 out of 10

I really like the Burt's Bees foundation but it seems like after I use about half of it, it starts to fall apart in its container and it becomes impossible to use anymore. I guess that means that as far as value for your dollar it is very low.

I’m so happy with this makeup. I ordered the vanilla color, which is perfect for my pale skin without making me look white and pasty. It’s also not to dark, so there is no makeup line on my jaw line. I love that it is a light powder, but still provides enough coverage that I am wearing it standalone. I was tired of the oily liquid makeup and am replacing it with this. Again, I’m glad it provides sufficient coverage and provides a smooth, matte finish.

I LOVE how this powder looks when applied- it’s my favorite translucent powder I’ve ever used. I’m giving 3 stars for functionality though, because I’ve bought this compact 3 different times and each time it’s completely shattered within days (I haven’t dropped it or been rough with it, it just seems to be really fragile). I much prefer a compacted powder over loose so this is frustrating to me. The makeup itself is fantastic, though- I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate me and it gives me a more even overall tone.

My old powder (Rodan + Fields Mineral Peptides) was discontinued, but luckily I happened upon this. It’s almost just as good as that premium powder was and doesn’t settle in my wrinkles! It’s lightweight, but covers well with a brush. Almond is just the right color! I used to mix the light and medium loose powders, but now it’s one step. I use the sponge to apply under my eyes and then brush it all over. Don’t forget your neckline. I would love this in a larger compact, as I go through them quickly using a dense brush. Also, a sample pallet would be helpful. I got lucky with my perfect shade on the first try.
