How to enter Power Save mode ?

You'll need the Metroselect programming guide available from Honeywell's website. You'll need to learn how to program the unit with the barcodes. There is a code to scan to enter the Programming Mode, then you scan the code you want to change to, then you scan the Exit Programming barcode to save your changes. The settings to change the Power Save mode are in section D 26 of the programming guide. Your choices will be: Always Power Save (at the moment you turn it on), Never Power Save, and Power Save timer modes for 1,2,5,10,20, and 30 minutes. There is also a Blink setting. Hope this helps.

Will this scanner work with key tag barcodes? Example: grocery store reward cards?

Yes it will read any standard linear barcode. It will not read a QR code or other 2D codes, but most key tags will have a code 128 or code 39, which this will read.

is this wall mountable?

No, but we sell NEW Metrologic Cubits with Stands that are wall mountable, also on Amazon. They are new, but old stock, meaning manufactured 10 years ago, but new in the wrappers and actually a better scanner than the Orbit.
