Addis 518003 Funnel, Plastic, Transparent, Large 14 cm

Intro:______I never thought I’d ever review such a simple item, but here we are.I purchased this funnel due to buying a 5L bottle of dog shampoo; as you can imagine trying to pour the small amount required amount from that single handily into a small opening is a near-impossible task without getting it everywhere. After scouring Amazon, I struggled to find a pump dispenser compatible with this particular size of bottle, and when I did come close, it turned out the reviews weren't at all favourable. I managed to find a refillable 500ml bottle, though the only way to fill this would be to use a funnel and the width of the opening being relatively narrow.Pro:______* As I have only used in conjunction with shampoo, it may differ, but from my experience, once poured, the shampoo doesn't stick to the funnel; it seems to glide off effortlessly down to the tapered tube, leaving little to no waste of product.* Although priced at £2.15 at the time of this review, the quality is fantastic; it seems robust and, if looked after, could very well last year's.* The mould doesn’t have any awkward crevices to where liquids can become lodged—a quick rinse under the tap. Job done.* Of course, due to the varying consistency of liquids that funnels are commonly used for, but for my use, I haven’t noticed it taking forever to flow. I can fill the 500ml bottle up in less than a minute.Con:———* You do need to be conscious of how much you initially pour, as it can be a little deceiving. When I first used I overestimated how much product to flow into the reservoir. Resulting in me quickly placing my finger under and covering the spout and run it back into the 5L packaging. Lesson learnt.Conclusion:______Overall, would I recommend this funnel? The price is fantastic, at less than £2.20. It just simply works for my intended use. So yes, I’d highly recommend this product.

I purchased this funnel for general use in the kitchen, primarily for transferring liquids into bottles. I chose the option labelled "Large", although on its arrival I think the size may be more accurately described as medium to large, but it's big enough for what I need and pretty much what I was hoping for.The funnel's tip has an external diameter of approximately 15 mm (see photo above), which should fit the neck of most bottles.I like the funnel’s semi-transparent finish; while it may not be as clear as glass, it offers enough visibility to see the contents being poured through, which is helpful.I was particularly impressed with its solid construction. When squeezed, it flexed, just, indicating that it is durable and could potentially last indefinitely. I think it would take significant force to break it.The tab on the top rim is helpful for gripping the funnel between your fingers while in use, and it has a hole for hanging.Pros:• Well-made and strong• Just the right size for general use• Reliable, well-known brand• Semi-transparent; easy to see the contents being poured and gives it a nice appearanceCons:• It is not foldable or collapsible like some other designs, which could be helpful for storage.Overall, I am pleased I bought this product and would definitely recommend it, so five stars from me.Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful

Like the title says. The funnel works as intended and is a nice sturdy plastic, however because it was stuffed into a cardboard envelope it arrived slightly squashed and with a minor split in the rim directly opposite the loop for hanging it up. A little bit of squashing later and it was a keeping a more rounded shape.

This is an amazing product. Until you’ve owned one, you won’t be able to appreciate just how wonderful it is. It doesn’t come with instructions but is so intuitive that you’ll be using it like a pro in no time at all. Straight out of the box, I decided to try filling a bottle with water. It was so simple! I put the narrow part of the funnel into the neck of the bottle, positioned the wide part under the water tap, then turned the tap on. Imagine my astonishment and delight as water flowed from the tap into the funnel! But it doesn’t end there. Without any further action on my part, the water then flowed down through the funnel and into the bottle! Just in case this was a fluke or something I could explain away as ‘beginner’s luck’, I emptied the bottle and did the whole process all over again without any bother. I was so impressed that I got the wife and kids to come and look. They all thought it was magic and now regard me as some kind of genius. I have now done this more than a dozen times and it works every time. There doesn’t seem to be any wear & tear on the funnel, so I have high hopes that this product will last a long time and I will find other uses for it.Just to be clear, this device does not need batteries or other power source; it doesn’t need to be connected to wifi and there are no apps to be downloaded to use it to its full extent. The lack of password protection may concern some people, but I cannot find any security issues with it.So if you ever need to transfer fluids from a tap or container into another vessel like a bottle, then you should really get one of these - you’ll never use anything else! One of my kids was a bit disappointed that it can’t be controlled by Alexa, but I’m sure Amazon will issue an update to cover that very soon.

A bit too flimsy. So, while the price is low, perhaps the price is not quite low enough.
