How are folks connecting these hoses to the 3/8" barbs on the Shurflo 105-300 pump?

The Shurflo 105-300 water pump comes with 3/8" barbs as standard fittings. Unless theses are screwed in fitting that can be removed and replaced, the water silencing kit 94-591-01 will not work. I am not familiar with this pump, but you can make your own silencing kit using hose certified for drinking water usage. Remember, your using the hose as a "flexible" silencing device to prevent the pump movement from connecting to the hard tubing in the RV. If you have barb fittings (shurflow 105-300_ comes with barbs. Since I'm not entirely familiar with the pump, see if the barbs are removable. If so, then the silencing kit will probably be fine since it includes some adapters. However, if the barbs are a permanent mounting, make you own silencing kit. Use 3/8 flexible hose of appropriate length with clamps. You should use hose that is drinking water safe and can withstand the output pressure of the pump (generally about 60 psi.). A hose with a higher pressure rating should be used to prevent any blowouts. If you have already purchased the silencing kit, I'd check out the size of the tubing. If is the correct size, think about cutting off the end and using a clamp to secure it to the pump barb. One thing to be aware - don't allow any kinks as you'll end up with little or no flow. Making a circle with the hose, attaching to the pump will allow the pump to move, but not the rigid pipe that causes the noise. Since noise was a problem for me too, I also added a couple of "computer mouse pads" under the motor and longer screws. Don't encase the motor with sound-proofing as it make cause excessive heat buildup when run for a long period of time.

What is the minimum bending radius for these hoses? I need to install them in a confined space.

I have my pump hooked up in a smaller space and have found that you can't go less than 4" on the radius, to be safe. The hoses are pretty sturdy and you might be able to go less but would not recommend it.

How does adding more hose reduce noise?

These hoses absorbe vibration that reduces the noise.

are these hoses for drinking water? will they grow bacteria?

I use the ShurFlo in our food truck for fresh water and I believe the hoses are food safe for 3 reasons. 1. I checked on it with ShurFlo before I bought the pump 2. The hose id white which indicates food safe/grade and 3. I have been imspected multiple times by Vancouver Island Heath and the pump and hoses were passed. I have seen other pumps that have grey or black hoses and I know those aren't food safe. To be absolutely sure, just call ShurFlo and ask.
