Works perfect
After my CPAP quit working I did the whole Doctor/Respiratory therapist thing to get a new machine but after a week of no response I decided to try a power supply. There were a bunch listed so it seemed to be a reasonable gamble as the problem. It was, I got it in a couple of days and was back to using my CPAP. A week and a half later I got notified I was cleared to get a new CPAP. I told them not to bother I fixed it myself. If you have a Res-Med S10 series CPAP it might be a good idea to pick up an extra AC DC Adapter for yours just in case. Especially if it's over a year old. The Adapter runs pretty hot while it's operating.

Original Resmed power supply brick, only without the cord velcro.
This is to replace my 3 years old Resmed Airsense 10 Auto original power brick. My original power brick broke all of a sudden as I was about to sleep. I went online to find what might be the reason, and maybe I needed to replace my entire machine. In one of the CPAP forums, someone mentioned that when the brick is plugged into an outlet, even when the machine is not on, there should be a green LED light lit on the brick, and the brick should be a bit warm (which is normal). If it is plugged in and do not see the green LED light and the brick is not warm, a bad power adapter is the most likely reason. So I ordered this replacement brick and it worked! The unit is exactly like the original Resmed brick, down to the texture on the plastic and font style on the sticker. The only thing it does not have is a Velcro strip attached to the hoop on the power brick, used to bundle up the power cord.

Seems like the real thing
So glad to see this arrive today as I've been using an inferior backup cpap for several months. On inspection, the power box looks exactly the same as the original right down to the texture of the plastic. The power cord part, that goes from the wall to the box was a LOT flimsier and thinner than the original. Maybe that is why some people said their power supply got hot? I just switched the cheap new one with the thicker old one, plugged it in and saw that little green light on the box. I was so glad to see that green light. So glad to see the cpap fire up too. I thought the cpap was broken until I noticed the green light on the power box was not lighting up. Some people say they had trouble with this supply burning out or getting hot pretty quickly and going bad. I'm hoping that since I traded out the very thin plug cord, that it will not be an issue. I will keep you posted if there are. For right now it's a definite 5 stars even though I felt the need to trade out part of it. I was just so glad to get my nice machine back in action!!
