Stamina Inmotion Rower Compact, Efficient Cardiovascular Rowing Machine Smooth Adjustable Tension

Stamina X Water Rower arrived. Heavy and needed help moving in down the stairs to the basement. Assembly instructions could use a little more detail and pictures to indicate the direction to mount the bar holder. No batteries included for computer. Hardware package had 2 extra washers and was missing 2 important bolts. Had to call customer service to have them send the missing bolts. Hopefully the bolts will arrive soon and I will actually be able to try out the rower. For now it is a good looking but unusable piece of workout equipment. I am not convinced of the durability of the nylon strap ( instead of a rubber belt, metal cable or chain). Hopefully the strap will be easy to replace if it wears out quickly and and fails. Unable to move and store the rower upright when filled up with water.

Solid, well-engineered and constructed, and the packaging was an engineering marvel in itself. Not much assembly required, was not missing any hardware, and needed tools were provided.I’m 6’3” tall with 37” inseam measurement and with my legs fully extended there remains approximately 6” more seat travel.I filled the water bowl to the maximum level mark with distilled water - took 3-1/2 gallons.I use to this day a Stamina stair stepper I purchased around 1990, so I have reasonable expectations for comparable equipment longevity for this rower (which is considerably more durably built).This is literally my first rowing machine use, so I have no other rowing machines to compare to. I was a bit disappointed that the resistance wasn’t greater, but it should still serve me well for the planned twice weekly 30-minute early morning warm-up/workout (I have various other aerobic machines used on other mornings).It’s very quiet and smooth operating, foot rests are solidly built and mounted (love the foot restraint straps), and I was surprised with the seat design and comfort.Would I purchase again? Let you know, maybe, in a decade or two.

Love the rower, foot pad broke from normal wear and tear after 10 days of daily use. Asked for a new foot pad and did not get ANY Response. Not great

Easy to assemble. Easy to fill. Easy to use. Relatively quiet. Smooth. Doesn't take up much space. One major flaw is the foot pedals move making your feet the focus instead of your form. I rigged it with some cardboard, but for the price I shouldn't have to rig it to be stable. If it wasn't for that I'd give it 5 stars.

I don't own this rower nor have i tried it. However, I have purchased the air rower from Stamina, the 1399, and I am extremely happy with it. A bit on the loud side but it gets the job done. I plan to purchase this for Christmas. Stamina products are great!
