This is probably hands down the best Bokashi I have ever used. Very impressed with the microbial activity. I have tried other brands such as Bokashi Living as well as the Bokashi from BLH Farm called Mo-kashi bokashi and neither one has had the microbial activity like this TeraGanix. I use it for gardening and it has not disappointed. I did take it out of the original bag and poured the Bokashi into 1 gallon freezer bags. I mix it in with my soil as well as top dress with it. Highly recommend this brand. Will definitely buy again.

This stuff is exactly what I am looking for. It's made out of quality ingredients and doesn't contain anything that I am worried about getting into the soil in my garden. TeraGanix seems very knowledgeable and I can tell they care about delivering a safe and high quality product. I have already added it into my compost and I'm excited to see the improvement in the soil that I am planning to add it to. I've bought products like this before and was disappointed. This is a great product and I'm excited to use it up so I can get more!

I stored this bokashi in a sealed container as I always do, but it molded spectacularly within a few weeks and became unusable (see photo). It had a bit of a funky smell to begin with, and I think it was just too moist on arrival (it had a very clumpy texture and did not pour freely). So, even if you put it in a sterile container, it grows mold from the inside out. This was an experiment to see if this cheaper brand could measure up to Southern Oregon bokashi, which is otherwise my go-to brand and has much higher quality: it is fully dry and in flake form, so as long as you take care to keep it dry, it never gets moldy. Unfortunately, I think my conclusion here is that you get what you pay for, and I will be going back to Southern Oregon brand since I wasn't able to use more than a few spoonfuls of this one and essentially wasted my money.

This is the only bokashi bran I've ever tried--because it is so effective. Everything ferments just as it is supposed to; my bin doesn't smell, it forms a nice white mold at the top, just as it's supposed to. After leaving it to ferment for 2 weeks, I bury it or toss it into a raised bed and cover it with soil, and in 2-4 weeks my scraps are fully composted and ready for transplants. I'm thoroughly impressed. I can't wait until fall to see how effective it is at turning old leaves into compost when mixed with bokashid scraps. With this bran, a little goes a long way! For me, a light coating of bokashi over the top of my scraps is enough to keep smells at bay and yield a product that is ready for composting.

I've purchased this twice. The first time, everything was fine. The second time, the bag arrived with a compromised seal, extremely clumpy contents, and some sort of white fungus starting to develop. Search engines say this is fine for bokashi fermenting and it seems to be working but it's certainly off-putting.
