I bought this spray specifically for bed bugs and was happy with how well it worked. It’s easy to apply, has a low odor, and I felt comfortable using it indoors since it’s plant-based and safe around kids and pets once dry. I used it on mattresses and fabric without any issues or staining. What really surprised me is that it also worked great on ants. I sprayed areas where they were coming in, and it took care of the problem quickly. It’s nice having one product that can handle more than just one type of pest. Bed bugs are so hard to get rid of. We found some in our rental unit and started searching for an easy way to get rid of them. There is NO easy way, we learned the hard way. Thinking all sprays are made the same we tryed to take the cheapest way out. That ended up costing us way more. I had a hard time believing this stuff would work and still be so safe. We are now using it as a preventive mesure.

Even though the bottles were in separate plastic bags one leaked and almost completely destroyed the bag they were sent in. What's left in the bottle will not squirt out so that must be damaged.

Somebody staying at the house brought bed bugs with them. That's fun. But this did well at killing them. It doesn't smell awful and even though our pets weren't allowed in the room, the ingredients don't look like it will harm them. It worked and won't kill us, what more can you ask for?

So safe, it is exempt from FDA registration as a pesticide. Good news! The two active ingredients are clove oil and cottonseed oil. I took it upon myself to check into the effectiveness of both of these ingredients. Clove oil contains eugenol, which can disrupt the nervous system of bed bugs & preliminary studies suggest it may be toxic to them, but results vary based on the concentration and application method. It seems higher concentrations may kill bed bugs within hours, but generally, it may take longer. Cottonseed oil is often used in combination with clove oil in pest control products as it contributes to the overall effectiveness of the mixture, probably because it helps it stick to their exoskeleton and dilutes the clove oil; but as a standalone treatment, it is not very effective. Togethers, they are also effective against ants, roaches, fleas & ticks. I ordered this in hopes I could naturally eliminate whatever is biting me in my bed at night. I know it is not bedbugs, but I will still be spraying all of my bed riser blocks with it in hopes it will deter whatever it is. Great to know it will also kill ants on contact. I love and appreciate all of the important Critters on this planet, but when the ants & biters invade your home, there is really no other way to get rid of them. Glad to find some thing that is non toxic to people & pets, to help with these occasional problems. In addition, it contains: distilled water, soap (with no explanation for the specific ingredients in the "soap"), glycerin, myristic acid, potassium chelate and potassium stearate. My wife and I live in a rural area and walk in the woods quite often. She has had some issues with bites on her legs and really is not sure if they are bed bugs or something else but decided to get this spray since it is all natural. Since we have received this her bites have gotten better and it seems this works on various other bugs and not just bed bugs. This is probably as effective as many other sprays that have many chemicals in them so for us it’s worth the price to use a natural product that has a decent smell. It’s not a cure all/catch all but happy to have it in our bug deterrent arsenal.
