Pentel Graphgear 1000 Mechanical Drafting Pencil 0.3mm Brown (PG1013)

OK, I'm a mechanical pencil nerd . . . That being said, this is the best mechanical pencil I've ever owned. I actually researched various ones and this one always seems to come out on top. I now know why. It works flawlessly, has a decent weight and feel (it's actually metal, not plastic), and the point retracts back into pencil when you press the clip so no more getting poked through your pocket. Seems really durable even with heavy use and, while more expensive then the cheapos you can get at the local retailer, you actually do get more for the money.Only disappointment is the replacement erasers made by Pentel are half the size of the ones that come with the pencil.

I support college students in accounting and finance courses. So, using a pencil is the bread and butter of my daily routine: demonstrating problems, doing calculations, etc.After 10 years, this is the pencil I have always needed. The lead does not break, my biggest pet peeve. The hand feel is balanced and amazing -- it feels like an instrument, not simply a pencil. And, while I love (!!!) the Blackwing 602, this doesn't need sharpening.

It is amazing. I love him. The material is amazing. It doesn’t stop working. The lead doesn’t fall out like some of the cheap mechanical pencils. I like how the erasers are replaceable

I love these pencils for drawing but they need rubber grips so my hand don't cramp. Ink maybe easier to hold for long periods.

This is one of those items that after you purchase it, you know you can never go without now, excellent design and features ,and very high quality,

I love this pen. I bought 2 in December and am having difficulty with the clutch on one now, less than six months of use. I took it apart and put it back together as shown on a Youtube Video, but the clutch just isn’t holding the led. I went to Pentel’s site and the warranty claim process is not worth my time. Shame on them. So, these were marked down on Amazon, soI ordered one to replace it given the price reduction. I am thinking of going to a 7mm, i have 3 9mm, one of which is not working. Feel great in your hand, well balances and a good weight. When marking wood cutlines, makes a nice thin line. Pentel, fix your warranty claim process and I will give you a five star!

Led tip never brakes even if you forget to retract the tip. Draws a very accurate line. Can click the side to withdraw the tip to protect the tip. Best pencil I ever used.

Use these pencils on a daily basis they are durable and are great for their price and are comfortable to use.
