I purchased this Y-Axis 5 x Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop - Universal Fit Stopper Kit Black (5 Sets) from the seller Mr-Security for the price of $6.49 and it was shipped by Amazon.I had a seatbelt in the back that was missing it's clip stop and after much groaning from my daughter I picked this up to fix it. Wish I had done it sooner. I didn't realize how inexpensive or easy this would be.I found the original spot based on the outline of the previous clip stop button and poked the hole through with the pokey thing. I had to really work at it a bit to spread it out, and even then the hole on the button didn't go through right away and I used my nail to push the fibers aside enough to get it through. Then you push the two together and while I didn't hear a snap or anything, when I tried to pull them apart it wouldn't budge. Super easy and really improved quality of life.

I recently purchased a used 2003 Ford Ranger and although this truck was in incredibly nice condition, for some reason the little button that stops the seat belt buckle from sliding to the floor, was missing on the seat belt portion that hangs from your shoulder area..The first few days that I owned the truck, I would get so frustrated with having to open the door every time I had to retrieve the buckle so I could fasten my seat belt. The buckle would slide to the floor with the little button missing and end up wedged between the floor and the seat.I had no idea that this Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop was available. I thought I just had to live with a defective seat belt. So I started searching and to my amazement, I found this inexpensive kit and it even came with an awl (or pointy device to poke a hole in the seat belt for the new button).I ordered it, and within 10 minutes of receiving this kit in the mail, I had my frustrations relieved and a new Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop installed.These buttons are a 2-Piece configuration. All you do is poke a hole in the seat belt that hangs from your shoulder area, and insert the male end of the button through the belt and snap on the other side of the button - then squeeze them together (I gently used a pair of plyers to squeeze the 2 parts of the button together) . Much like a snap on a shirt or pants. EASY !If you are missing your Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop on ANY CAR, I highly recommend this little kit. The price is perfect and it will save you a ton of frustrations by taking a few minutes to order and install a new button so that you are not fishing around on the floor to find the seat belt buckle that usually gets wedged between the seat and the floor if no button is on the belt to stop the buckle from falling to the floor.If my review helped you in understanding this little product, please vote to let me know.

This is a product you don't know until you know. These little things break over time and then it becomes a pain when the buckle drops to the floor. We acquired another vehicle and these were broken, first thing wife said was these have to be fixed. This little kit comes with everything. The buttons are easy to squeeze together. I would purchase this again or recommend it to anyone.

Worked well. Good replacement for something that you take for granted when an OEM one pops off or the seatbelt doesn't come with one.The tool is cheap, but worked. I would recommend getting a small pick set if you had to do multiple seatbelts.

I have driven a lot of cars and trucks in my life. In all that time, I have never needed one of these before. I currently do house to house delivery and I get in and out many times on my routes. Each time I get back in my vehicle, I have to fasten my seatbelt again. Somewhere along the way, the seatbelt button got lost.This simple device keeps your seat belt buckle at about shoulder level when you unfasten your seatbelt, so that it is easy to find and grab when you put your seatbelt back on. Without it, the buckle slides down the belt to the floor.Part of problem of getting a new button was that I didn't even know what it was called. I thought it might be difficult to find such an obsure item.After noodling around the internet a bit, I finally found what I was looking for on the Walmart site. And, with the product, there was a name. Walmart was selling only one brand and I wanted a selection, so I headed over to Amazon, where I found it wasn't such an obsure product after all, once there was a name for what I was looking for.So, I order a package of not too expensive and not too cheap seat belt buttons that came with an awl to make installation easier.When the buttons arrived a day or so later, installation was quick and easy. I had thought the hole from the original seat belt pin would be sufficient, but I couldn't find it, so I guesstimated where it had been and had to use the awl to make a big enough hole to complete the installation.One of life's little pleasures: Having the seat belt buckle in a convenient, easy to reach location....

They worked great, but my bad, my bad I purchased the wrong color.

You know what’s annoying? Nothaving the little button on your seatbelt to keep the latch from falling all the way down beside the door. These little buttons were affordable and convenient. Came with a sharp poker needle to make a new hole and like 5 buttons. Now I can replace so many seat belt buttons.
