Excellent performance
Purchased from TPS Technologies. The package is received in extra cartoon consisting of manufacturer sealed original package and complementary input power cable. Further, the item is in a polyethylene bag with tamper proof seal , inside the original package,. It is manufactured in July 2021. The net weight without complementary input power cable is 485 gms. All the descriptios on labels are correlating. So I believe it's new and genuine Dell. The performance and safety standard are excellent based on the following parameters, Open circuit DC voltage is 19.7V. There is no AC Voltage and no leakage current at output, hence it is safe from any electrical shock at output pin. It is able to drive MSI Gaming laptop of rating 150w , (19.5V , DC jack of size 7.4mm OD X 5.0mm ID) without any overcurrent protection acting (unlike 90W charger). I am using it even for tpa3116d2 amplifier through a adapter cable (as it's 24V DC adapter is having a leakage current of 0.07A at AC voltage of 70V). The quality / reliability of unbranded complementary input power cable is not known as i have started using MSI OEM supplied old cable (instead of opening the bag of above free cable). However, In view of recent experiencces of other users , i will check it suitably before put into use and update. Testing a cord is a specialist job. The supplied cord is of unbranded as per uplaoded photo. (The cord I am using of MSI laptop, but it is of make I-SHENG). It is better to purchase a branded Dell or its marketed Volex or Storite make (connector type is Mickey i.e C5) Update as on 02.10.2022. it is working great , more than a year is over.

Must buy if looking for a replacement
I’ve been using for almost 3 months and It’s working perfectly fine. It just gets heat up a little but the original one did so too. Overall a best deal.

Query regarding warranty..
When i plugged in the charger, i saw smoke coming from the power cable and now it's not working. It hasn't been a year yet? Does the 1 year warranty cover this damage? How do i proceed now?
