This book has a plethora of knowledge. Going to the very intricacies and showing what is going on in the background , it unveils the details of JVM.The author is a well known professor at Jadavpur University. One of his other classics is Web technologies by the same publisher.If one has an in depth knowledge of Core Java and wants to dive into Advanced Java then this is the book meant for you.

An excellent book ! I have never come across such a good book. A host of ready-made programs with their full explanation are given in the book. You will find nowhere this type of book.

If you are a student and want to write exam then this is good book . Not good for professional who want to learn and deep dive . Complete reference is better than this book .

Don't get fooled by its table of contents,it shows it has covered almost all the topics in Java.But, generally you will get notes copied from Oracle docs.

Very Worst book. Don't buy nothing is to define well. Just prise is high content is very low. "Bakwas book".
