When the impossible becomes possible
It is really unlikely that when almost 2000 paintings are cramped in a single volume of almost 700 pages they can be enjoyed with all their beautiful details. And also there are a lot of texts for the important ones. This impossible task is performed in an awesome manner by the Black Dog & Leventhal Publishers. Before purchasing the book I was quite tensed because of the fact that the book "The Vatican, all the paintings" by the same publisher which I bought a few days back was not up to the mark in many aspects. Although that book contains much less works than Florence. I still can not believe how they maintain such a high quality of printing standard throughout the book and how they provide so many large illustrations while the huge number of works are to be there in the volume. Those lovers of the Renaissance art who still didn't buy this book must buy this marvelous book which is a real treasure to have.
