Truly excellent book written is a humble and sympathetic way on the subject. It really helped me on the subject and really helped to settle my mind on how we can balance science and my Biblical faith in the inspired work of God.

A great read to open you eyes to what is established as Genesis. Lennox opens much more than theology, but science, understanding, language, and the beginnings of life itself. A great read and challenge.

I am only half way through John Lennox's " Seven Days " and I guess he did his best on an issue that has the significance of extreme importance. With a catholic background and the church's teaching that the topic is debatable ,I guess you can have it which ever way you like, which is a little perturbing. A key sentence can be found on page 32 "Scripture has the primary authority" and even though I admire Rabbi's Sacks and Kook as well Augustine and Origen, in the end ,it seems to me we are left with the struggle of reason and John Lennox's book helps solidify the arguments involved. As a catholic I believe in miracles and surely our lives, our world, our universe are among the greatest of all. Yet the world goes on debating Leibniz's thought "Why is there something rather than nothing?"
