Gorgeous and functional
We got this to replace a dark leather storage ottoman at the foot of our bed for a softer look. The color of this ottoman is just gorgeous. I was between this and another brand that was cheaper, but ultimately, this won because I liked the raised legs, tufted lid, and was already familiar with the Christopher Knight brand. First, I was impressed with how it was packaged. The ottoman comes assembled except for the legs. Beneath the box sean where you would score it was a box-length strip of cardboard, just to make sure you didn’t slice fabric when cutting the box open. The ottoman itself came housed in a drawstring bag. The hardware was all together in a small bag inside the ottoman - just legs and plastic washers, as it needs no tools! You just twist the legs onto the bottom. This is a nice and roomy piece of furniture that really looks luxe. I’m happy we spent a few extra dollars, because you get what you pay for.My only knock on this is that I wish there was a good picture of the bottom to make sure I had the legs going the right way. They're angled on one side and I wasn't sure if the angle pointed in or out. (We did ours inwards.) Not all legs twisted the same amount to be tight, but there's 7 washers to add one or two to a leg if you need to even them out.Overall, we're really pleased with this purchase. It's high quality and looks great!

Great bench
The fabric is beautiful and it looks nice at the foot of my bed. It opens easily and stays open until you are ready to close it which is nice so that you can load it without having to hold it open. The legs screwed on easily. I sat on it and it holds my weight of 168 lbs but, it does not seem sturdy enough in the center for a ton more weight. If I had kids, I would not want them to jump up on it. Also, the bottom of the inside seems flimsy - I would not pack it too full. I am very happy with it for the price I paid and would reccomend it to anyone.

Love it. Lid cracked. Still great.
I think we’ve had this for like a year. I love the color. Love the storage capacity. I store one thick blanket and one thinner blanket in it and there is definitely extra room (probably another thick blanket?). It’s easy to move around, it’s comfortable to sit on. Something did crack in the lid. I think we kept stepping on the same spot when we would climb over it to get to the couch. But i hardly notice the crack. Visually, it looks the same. The bench is still comfortable. You can feel where it is broken and it is less sturdy, but it isn’t sharp or uncomfortable.

The look is rich and the ottomans are made very well
I bought two of these for my two sofas. We love them so much. The color, the storage, the look with a rich color, worth the price (I searched everywhere for a good price), and comfortable for propping your tired feet and legs. When our grandchildren come over we scoot the two ottomans together to make a nice bed with a pillow and a blanket. This gives them a comfy area and the adults sofas to relax with more room!I love the storage! We have 2 standard bed pillows and 4 blankets, the grandchildren’s house shoes and iPads in one ottoman. Love, love, love them so much!

Gorgeous Bench!
I got this bench to put on my entry way for guests to be able to remove their shoes. It looks great. It's very durable and was so easy to put together! It took me all of 10 minutes!

Bummer
I purchased the Christopher Knight Home Ottilie Fabric Storage Ottoman, and I’m kinda bummed. It’s a great-looking piece at an excellent price, especially once I replaced the feet with some more appealing, taller versions. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087LFLV6Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) Note: The taller legs would likely make it wonky if set on carpet, but on hard flooring they work well. The stitching is tight, the tufting sturdy and well done, and the storage ample. The navy blue that I chose is a good shade, and has a faux linen effect that is sturdy and appealing. Originally I gave it five stars. The problem, and it is a significant one, is that any focused pressure on the top cause the wood underneath the tufting to break into literal splinters.Them doing it this way is the strangest thing! An adult can sit carefully, but if anyone kneels on top, the knee punches through with a resounding ‘crack.’ If you’ve ever had matzoh, then you’ll understand the thin brittleness that I talking about. It’s so odd! They put a lot of work into this and made a very nice looking piece, then ruined it with a single super thin layer of wood. A slightly flexible bit of plastic would be far, far more durable. There is fabric lining on the interior, and at this point that’s all that is holding the wood piece of the top together. I have some upholstery webbing lying around so I may try my hand at detaching the lining, removing the broken and splintered wood, and stapling the webbing in place to support the top, but gosh that’s a pain. In the photo I’ve cut away a small portion of the lining open to show one of the many holes and the thickness of the wood. As you can see, it’s only a hairsbreadth thicker than the quarter. The cross supports are still strong, and the thing maintains basic structural integrity, but the shattered wood looks like it’s about to cut the ribbons holding the tufts in place, so that’s not great. Soon it will be wonky and stretched out, with some tufts remaining and others blown out. It’s also pushing very sharp splinters through the lining into the interior storage area, and that has made for some unwelcome surprises in the blankets that we stored in there.Honestly, it’s still a pretty great piece of furniture for the price, but it’s definitely not for high traffic areas, or areas with kids. Anywhere that would have elbows, knees, or little feet making contact is going to be a problem. As an occasional bench under a window or possibly a place to sit and slip on shoes, it would likely be fine. Anything that requires any sort of durability, not so much.Bummer.

Beautiful window seat.
We needed storage and function so I ordered this. I love it! This came all wrapped in a nice cloth within the box. We lifted it out and all we had to do was put the feet on. It's light weight and easy to move. The fabric is very nice. Plenty of storage inside and bam... it is a window seat ! I want one for the end of my bed next. This piece was worth every cent.
