Pricey but convenient, tasty
These are my favourite instant coffee. We discovered them in Tahiti and prefer them to every other we know about. I typically drink dark roast coffee with half n half, no sweetener. But, in circumstances where I don't want to carry half n half, or don't have a cooler, I pair one sachet of L'or with one sachet of T rader Jo e's instant coffee packets, which have creamer and sweetener-- makes a satisfactory cup of brew. Great for travel, backpacking, or keeping at work for occasional use. Pricey but convenient.

Tasty, plentiful, and easy-sneezy
I'm normally more of a Starbucks/Peet's/Gevalia kind of girl, but circumstances required a single-serve option, and these packets fit the bill perfectly. For a 16 oz. mug, you'll really want--need--to use two packets (maybe even three if you're adding lots of cream and sugar/syrup). I use 2 packets with around 12 oz. of boiling water and a full 8 oz. single-serve container of sweetened almond milk. Super yummy!I included a photo to illustrate the ease of access--sadly, the box was crushed in transit so you're seeing a lot of Scotch tape and other hack-job fixes. However, the box still serves the purpose, and in the course of about a week I've gone through half of the 80 single-serve packets.Good value if you consider the pricing of the single-serve Starbuck's packets. Yes, there is a difference in the flavor, but if you down 6-8 cups of coffee a day, who can afford Starbuck's anyway?

Returned to morning coffee after many years and like this
I bought some cheap house-brand instant at the local grocery and was thoroughly unexcited by it. Had breakfast at a friend's house and noticed that I actually liked the coffee, but it came from one of those fancy machines with the little cups and that seemed like too much hardware (I have enough junk on my kitchen counter already). But it motivated me to start reading reviews and I ran across this stuff and thought I'd give it a shot. I like it. One packet makes a nice cup of coffee for me. Another reviewer said she likes hers stronger so she uses two. Really convenient, travels well, tasty and inexpensive. Plus it's French....ooo la la! I can try to convince myself I'm classy and continental as I drink fancy coffee with my frosted pop tart!

What Does Paris Taste Like?
This is the coffee left for me in the Paris apartment where I stayed. It is so cheap to buy in Paris, I brought several boxes home. I don't know if it really tastes any better than any other instant coffee, but to me it tastes like Paris.OK, slightly less dreaming review, heating the electric water heater (teapot) and creating one cup of coffee with Carte Noire is just as easy (easier even) than using those Kurig and Kurig knock off machines, with less waste, fewer appliances that need to be kept on my kitchen counter, and probably less electricity.I've used it in iced coffee, it will melt in cold liquid but slowly and I recommend just letting the crystals melt in a small bit of hot water and then using that to make your cold coffee beverage. The 100 pack container of these on Amazon seems to be a fair price.I use 1 packet, 5 to 7 ounces of water, and 1 to 3 ounces of milk (no sugar). This works, if I'm using my big mug, I double everything.

Horrible
Worst coffee I had in years! I gave it 5 tries, different sugar/ sugar alternatives/ no sugar....it just tastes horrible. You won't be able to return to Amazon either, you have to contact seller so be careful and think thrice before ordering this

Absolutely love it
I’ve shared this with many others. We love this brand of coffee. It’s hit and miss getting it available, but when it is we try to keep it in stock at home. It’s easy to use, great for on the go. Amazing flavor.

Not bad
It’s ok. I don’t think it’s better than the dark roast that I was using. It’s definitely not full flavored. Out of all the instant that I have tried the Starbucks brand it still the best tasting if you like to taste your coffee but it is the most expensive.
