Sturdy, good built quality and received as exactly shown. Packaging was good, but slight dent in the corner of the base which is very negligible or hard to notice. I straightened it with small nose plier hence not a big issue. These lamps has vintage look (during 80's I used during school days).. Now again I found here at Amazon. On open market you get many fancy stuff lamps for work tables, but these are not found very easily. Anyway all is good as of now, fortunately not received in broken parts like previous buyers here at Amazon. I am using both incandescent lamp (40w) as well as 3 watt led lamp. Problem with LED lamps is that, it generates noise (EMI) in electronic circuits, but it ok for those who don't work with electronics hence need not worry....... Highly recommended for purchase... Also if price was within ₹ 600 it would have been much better

I am writing this review after one month usage. This is the lamp, I was looking for. Excellent buy, worth for every penny. I got it for 979 rupees without any discount. The most linking features are : 1) Glossy finish2) All metal body.3) Sturdy and heavy base.4) Any normal LED or CFL or even Filament bulb can be used. I am using 3 watt LED bulb and it is working for me fine.5) Height is approx 23 Inch's which makes it different from other normal low height lamps.6) easy repairable at home or at any local market shop.7) 1.5 meter cord length. However, the quality of wire is not that much good.Last, I have come to know an interest fact that the same lamp has been used in Money Heist Web series, in professor's classroom.So I am happy to have it at my study table. Was delivered so quickly. Good packaging..let me share pros and cons as per observation.Pros: 1) product is as it is described2) it is very easy to operate and make modifications3) quality is good for the price.4 ) strong and long lasting body5) allows to use any bulb as per requirement6) looks beautiful with its minimalistic design.7) good for students who want to study for long hoursCons: only con is base is not that heavy and lamp falls on extending beam forward ..when you make beam inclined .. I think manufacture can make its base heavier in future and make it even more stable at any position. However still it is the best lamp in the market. 1. Construction : the lamp is made of metal parts in its entirety, feels very solid and sturdy. Does not wobble, the movement hinges were a bit tight but they inspire confidence. However my lamp is angulated at its base, and is titled at an angle permanently, giving me no way to fix it. 7/102. Movements : I am a doctor and I bought this because it is advertised as a doctor's lamp. Wouldn't say I'm disappointed, but I'm not entirely satisfied the range of movement this offers compared to other doctors' lamps in this samw price range. It lacks movement along 3 basic axes, I've posted detailed pictures for you to see which movements are possible and which aren't. I must point out though, that the available range of motion, and the joints between the arms of the lamp are very sturdy and inspire confidence. Overall 7/103. Electircal Connections : the plastic button and the wire are attached thoughtfully, the wire runs inside the arms of the lamp. But the quality of these is poor. The wire broke off while I was unboxing it. It did work perfectly fine after manually reconnecting it. But hey, for a 1000 bucks, it's fair to ask for a good quality wire to say the least. 6/104. Packaging : packaging was perfect. It was double padded, secure, had enough bubble wrap. No complaints. 10/105. Paint and finish : the lamp is painted in hardware grade black glossy paint. A matt finish would've been a more premium look, but the gloss isn't too bad either. The paint is coated evenly, no chipping or scratches. 9/106. Price : for a 1000 bucks, I think this is overpriced. I'd rate it a 5 star product had this been a 600 rupees lamp. For a thousand rupees, I think it's overpriced. If you find a cheaper variant with similar construction, you'd be better off going with that. Or you can add another 500 to your budget and get an overall more premium doctors lamp. Not to say this is a bad purchase, but a discount will definitely make this product more worth it!

Highly recommended study lamp. Value for money. 1 yr warranty also. Heavy duty and reliable. Bulb is not included and guarantee card or customer care service number no where mentioned. They should have send it with package

Inferior quality on/off switch provided which is not fixed properly. Angle movements either very tight or very loose Inferior quality plug and wire used
