Great Choice:-)
A lot of these small irons look the same and have the same features so I read a lot of reviews. When it came to picking one I decided to go for what works best for me and convenience always wins out.First off...I liked the color of this one. I figured if I took it to a class it would stand out be hard to misplace. I was disappointed that it wasn't as red as it looks in the pics, but I just like red ! It's more of a brown red. Next, the travel bag is a must. Its handy to have a nice bag to put everything in when you take it somewhere or just to have in the house. It's nice to leave the water cup right with it. It's a much nicer bag than I expected. Heavy and I really do think it would be somewhat heat proof if tested. I wouldn't put a hot iron in it but I that's just a safety thing with me.The iron heats up quickly and ironed the couple of small things I tried nicely. I purchased this to use in my sewing room so I'm not going to be doing clothing but in a pinch it would work for you.I liked the feel of it. There is a decent weight to it. It's heavier than I expected ,so that was a bonus as well. It sits solidly when you place it on a table tipped up.I haven't used the steam setting so I can't comment on that. Also I don't know about long term....but for around $20 it was a good purchase so far.

Low profile for tight spaces
I needed a tiny iron to apply melamine tape inside and to the bottom of old kitchen drawers to help them slide more easily, and definitely did not want to use my nice clothing iron for the project. I was impressed with how well this little iron is made, and its small size. I needed to reach into the back of a 23" deep cabinet to get the tape onto the entire drawer runner, so it was really nice to have such a small and lightweight tool for the job. Actually, it was made well enough that I'm sure it would make a very nice travel iron.

This little Smagreho travel iron is my 2nd so that should tell you
My first Smagreho travel iron served my quilting needs superbly. I misplaced it, probably in our camper in storage, and thought I could hold out until I found it. I ordered a similar one but a different brand. It was too awkward and the cord was so heavy it would pull the iron off the board. I broke down and re-ordered this one. I gave it four stars for two reasons. Once, I don't trust 5 star reviews and there might be more of you like me. Two, it is slightly awkward due to the really long cord. I used to wind the cord around the handle on my first one and the cord got curly if you know what I mean. This is the same iron so I'm still working out how to handle the really long cord. All in all, expensive as it is, I still recommend it if you need a small iron. It gets very hot right away. I like that.

A Big Little Iron
Man! This is an awesome little iron. I would have never guessed that something this little could perform so effectively. Just the right size for my mask-making & other sewing projects. It heats up immediately, even faster than my large iron. And it gets as hot as any larger iron. It has an ample water reservoir for its size & the steam function works impressively. I don't by no means consider this a drawback, but the only little minor wrinkle is that it tends to spit water after using the steam function for awhile. But I don't consider this a serious issue, just thought you'd like to know in case it's something you can adjust. Its small size makes it perfect for ironing seams open, collars, & getting into those other hard to reach areas that are difficult with a large iron. Also, it has a nice long cord on it. I luv luv luv this little iron. Actually considering buying another one just to have an extra one on hand. Good job SMAGREHO. Thank you Amazon.👍👍

I love this iron!
I bought this for quilt piecing and I absolutely adore it! It heats up quickly and has more than plenty of heat (I rarely if ever put it all the up). I find the small size so much better for my hand as I have carpal tunnel issues and big irons really tire out my wrist. With this little iron I can quilt for hours now! The fill hole works well and is big enough; and the unit makes lots of steam. I like that I can turn the steam off when I need to. I have had no dribbling problems with this iron at all. Overall I am extremely happy with this iron and will be purchasing a second one for my traveling sewing kit. The only thing I would add/change about it is that it does not have an "auto-off" feature. But in the grand scheme I can live without that considering how well everything else about it works. For what it's worth, I've been using this iron for a month, quilting pretty much every day with it.

Handy Iron
I purchased this iron for my sewing classes that I teach. It was ideal for my summer campers aged 10-12 because of the small size and they didn’t have to handle a large iron. This iron will be good for my smaller sewing projects and all my sewing classes. The plastic cup is handy to pour water into the iron. The directions are written badly. There is no explanation on what the white netted cloth is for.

This product does not last past 7 months of use!!
I purchased my first iron in July of 2020. I loved it! Great size, easy to use, perfect for my daily sewing needs. On February 11th of 2021 it just stopped working. I had used it the night before and everything was fine. The next morning when I went to use it, it was just dead. Amazon was nice enough to replace it at no cost even though the return period had ended. I was thrilled because I used it daily and loved it. I received my new iron on February 13th or so, very quickly and again I was pleased with Amazon's service. Yesterday, almost 7 months to the day, the second iron died. The exact thing happened this time. I used it yesterday and everything was fine. I went to use it this morning and nothing. It had just died...again. Very disappointing! I don't dare order another one because I need it for more than 7 months!!
