Disney the Simple Family Cookbook

The recipes are very easy and the 5 year old loves to look through the book and choose something to make. She can’t do all the recipes independently but can do a lot. Lots of Disney characters are represented.

I love this cookbook. It is great for kids learning to cook. My 11 year old picks a recipe each weeks and can make it from start to finish on his own. The directions are easy to follow with great pictures. The pictures show the ingredients for each recipe and the finished product. I like that the recipes aren’t kitschy and they aren’t just simple things like a sandwich cut into a fun shape like a lot of kid cookbooks tend to do. They are actual (albeit simple...like the title says) meals that adults can enjoy too.

I received this book today, read through it, and love it. This book has a variety of ingrediance and easy of preperation that I have not see before in a cook book of any group. Use the dimple to create a wonderful varied meal plan for children and the adults that help them prepare it. Sardins, star fruit, leek, turnup, pumpkin! Brilliant and easy to prepare. I highly recommend this book for ALL ages that are trying to eat healthier every day.

This is definitely more of an adult cook book than a kids. The recipes aren’t like the other Disney cookbooks and neither are the meals. It’s great for adults but not so much kids. I couldn’t find one that we were really excited about. They are all more gourmet type meals!

Absolutely lovely, great buy with great healthy new recipes. Easy enough to understand.

I love the idea of this cookbook: making simple dishes you can cook with your kids that will be inspired by their favorite Disney characters. Ingredients range from 2 to 6 with simple instructions and pictures of everything from ingredients to characters to finished product. However where this book fails is in its ingredient and recipe selection. 2/3 of the book contains seafood recipes (at least two are sardine recipes), which can be expensive or hard to get or or kids are not a huge fan of some form of seafood. The other issue I have is the ingredients, some of these recipes call for some hard to find or pricey items such as gooseberry, taramosalata, blinis, chanterelles, veal scallops, lamb shoulder/shanks,

Ordered for my niece for Christmas and we enjoyed so much I ordered a copy for myself as well. Simple to make and great pictures too.

レシピは分かりやすいし、その周りに書かれているキャラクターも可愛いし、買ってよかった。 ハードカバーでページの紙質も割としっかりしたものだからか、結構な重みがあり、クリップに挟んでつる下げて見ながら作る、とかが出来ないのが残念。

Great book, lots of recipes and variety of food. Much better than I expected and my son loves it

The recipes are 3 or 4 ingredients which is good for kids. Not too complicated and each recipe is linked to a Disney character which is cool.
