Order this for my bride to put on the outside layer of hem. It is soft and the width is just perfect. I am so glad that I do not have spend tones of money for this. Love the quality.

Since I’m a seamstress, I use horsehair braid in the garments that require it. For instance, a full circle shirt will flounce or stand out more if it had horsehair braid in it. I had been trying to find a 3 inch braid, but was only finding 2 in. Thanks Amazon for helping with my situation. It’s most definitely appreciated. Thank you again.

I'm a seamstress and needed something to help hold out the hem (a little) of a heavily beaded prom dress. This did the job nicely and the client was thrilled.

Overall this product worked for my project. Of the 42 yards I used 21. I came across one large snag in that length that I had to work around. Aside from that there is no gather string on this horsehair but I found that pinning it in place and giving it a good press and steam had it laying along the curve of my skirt well enough for top stitching. If you are finishing by hand it's even less of an issue. Overall good value for the price.

Love how fast this product arrives, however, it often has damaged or short sections (not all one piece) which is frustrating. I've also noticed it is not 30 yards (unless you stretch it). After several rolls I would say it averages 22-25 yards so be sure to get extra and don't cut your project too close. It is great to have a prime option and this one being soft, without the thread, is exactly what I was looking for. I just wish the lengths and quality would be improved.

I used it on the hem of a wedding dress hem. Worked out perfectly.

Good stuff. I always wish the crin I purchased through Amazon were much stiffer but it serves it purpose.
