Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I ordered EmpireTech 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera SD49225T-HN ONVIF English Version. I received it in 3 days, I had problems getting my system to find the Camera so I reached out to Andy of EmpireTech and he quickly focused in on my POE not having enough power. After purchasing a properly powered Injector Every worked great. I used the Dahua configuration software and successfully changed all the settings. I added it to my Blue Iris software and the software was able to control all aspects of the camera, PTZ. This was one of the better experiences I have had with my surveillance system. While Andy might not be physically in the USA, his support was much better than I have had with other vendors who are local. Great camera, great service
I bought this camera during the cyber Monday deals and it’s well worth it’s value. This is my second purchase from empire tech; it’s great service and fast shipping (3 days USA). Any other vendor or site I found selling this camera was significantly more expensive, while the few places with a similar price had crazy shipping costs or/and up to a month to ship.I mounted the camera above my garage to the fascia board with lag bolts using the supplied mount. The camera is powered by my Lorex nvr (which can deliver up to 30 watts max). The camera response while panning and zooming is very fast, I even keep the speed setting on medium. Occasionally having issues focusing at night at 22-25x zoom but typically closer objects are in the field of view or highly reflective objects, which is most likely the culprit. It works with both the Lorex app and Dahua idmss app, but I prefer the latter.I came across empire by browsing the forums at ipcamtalk after I purchased my Lorex 4K set at Costco.

Best PTZ and vendor for cost and features.
Although I did not buy this particular model from Empire Tech Andy. I have used a few of them and they are very nice cameras. Empire Tech is the best place to buy your cameras the firmware can be upgraded on cameras they sell.
