It serves the purpose and it's a lot better than having a large coconut grater that takes up space. It's a bit fragile that's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

I was in bangkok and saw them scrapping out meat with this type of item so i searched it once I got to the USA and found this on amazon. I haven't used it yet, but the item is pretty cheaply made but worth what you pay for it. The metal scrapper blades are pretty flimsy so not sure I how long its will hold up, but you could easily make your own version off this at home more durable. Its worth buying for $4.15

It works great but the one end is a little flimsy - as long as you aren't too rough using it it should be ok.

Bends with use.

This thing works great for getting the meat out of young cocos. I have also used it on brown cocos as well. The U shaped end works better than the shredding fork end. Construction could be a little better, but overall, this is a very useful tool for my coconut habit!

The metal is a little flimsy. As I was using it I noticed it was bending out of shape. The biggest drawback, however, is that the stain on the wood comes off all over your hand and on the coconut as well if it touches the coconut. I'm giving it three stars because it is fine for the price. But if you plan on shredding a lot of coconut, find something better made

Brought it recently, it is a simple tool and it does what it says it would do. Only thing is you need to apply a lot of force to scrape out the coconut.
