Great condition. Great book.
Ordered this book for a class. Arrived in great condition. The book was very easy to read. Explains what it is like being a black man, living in the inner city. Great read for anyone. Explains the evolution of African-American culture until present day from the perspective of a man who lived through it. No pity parties. Just a thorough explanation of the struggles faced by black men in America and how to overcome it.

Culture vs Social Structure
Wilson does an excellent job of critically assessing the culture of poverty and social structural arguments often used to explain urban poverty. I am currently using this book for my Sociology of the City class because Wilson writes about a complicated issue in a manner that is accessible to undergraduate students.

NO PAGE NUMBERS
I like the book, however, there are no pages numbers so I can not site the page. This teaches me that I can not use Amazon for educational purposes because I need to site my sources. Now I am stuck trying to figure out how to do this and possible will have to go buy the hard copy eventhough I already spent money for the digital copy. Not cool, Amazon, you should let me know there are no pages numbers on digital copies.
