If you gave me 4 empty tuna cans and a handful of rocks, I could make a sturdierl, QUIETER bed.It took about 2.5 hours to put together. It was by myself with some toddler interruptions, but still an absurd amount of time.It was silent for about 6 days; I thought we had beaten the odds of the reviews saying it was squeaky. Then around day 7 it became so incredibly sensitive- the weight of your gaze from across room will cause it to squeak and moan loud enough to draw a noise complaint from your neighbors.The support bar at the head of the bed is buckling. Not just bending- buckling. We are two very average size people. We also have an infant and a toddler so no crazy acrobatic sexy time is happening on it to cause this.If you have any issues in your marriage, this bed will dig it up from the depths and smother you with it. No ones sane when they're not sleeping. Don't do this to yourself.P.S. it's pretty to look at

I bought this bed for our guest room. The purchase was based solely on aesthetics and price point. Wanted the gold/brass look and the retro style. The bed arrived earlier than anticipated with all pieces/parts/instruction manual included. Assembly took me and my husband less than 30 mins. The color is admittedly less gold than the pics in the description (it's more of a brushed antique bronze look) but it's close enough to what I wanted. I took note of the reviews that mentioned bent and broken support bars after use. Considering that the majority of guests in my home will be adult human beings with a combined weight of over 200 lbs. I went ahead and purchased the Zinus Demetric 14 Inch Elite SmartBase Mattress Foundation / for Big and Tall / Extra Strong Support / Platform Bed Frame / Box Spring Replacement / Sturdy / Quiet Noise Free / Non-Slip, Queen to replace the evidently flimsy support bars that come with this frame. Instead of assembling the support bars that come with the bed, we simply placed the Zinus Mattress Foundation inside of the frame - perfect fit - so we got the best of both: a bed that looks great and is quiet and structurally sound enough to support up to 4,000lbs! Definitely happy with this purchase.

I’m pretty upset with this bed.I really love the quaint design of it; however, the two cross bars are entirely failing?! The center of each bar is angling downward and I currently have placed wooden supports underneath until I find a new bed. I know what you’re thinking, haha and I am NOT an overweight person! :) I’m a 5’4” 120 lb girl that followed all of the instructions for putting this bed together.I LOVE the design of the bed, it is exactly what I was looking for so I’m really disappointed to have to look for a new one.The packaging was good, the pieces were in perfect condition (no scratches etc.), and all the hardware was enclosed...but one star because something was clearly not built to the quality it was supposed to be.

I was so excited to get this frame. I loved the gold color shown in the pictures and I really liked the price point. I consider myself rather handy and I was confident I would be able to put this together with ease. Once I opened the box I was immediatly disappointed because the color is NOT gold. Actually, it's NOT AT ALL gold! It is a ugly grey/black metal. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES OR DESCRIPTION, so beware. It was also difficult to put together, as there were multiple parts missing and the instructions are a bit hard to follow. I got it put together, eventually, and put my full size mattress on it. It is not a full size, it is more like a queen, my bed does not fill to the sides but when my comforter is on it, it doesnt look as bad. I am very disappointed with this product. I wish I could get my money back.

Better than I expected! Easy to put together. Feels sturdy. Plenty of under storage.

This bed frame was honestly my ideal style and I'm sad to say that this one just isn't worth it. The middle support pegs buckled within the first month of having it even though our weight plus the mattress didn't exceed the limits. The bar that the pegs are attached to also warped and that plus the issue with the pegs caused the whole thing to buckle in half and caused my partner some back pain. I would have taken pictures of the whole mess but I've already taken the thing apart. Waste of money!

I am very pleased with this bed! It is Beautiful and well made. Can be set at two levels for your mattress height, a low one or a higher one. You don’t have to have a spring mattress. The iron frame is a pretty ivory color. I was afraid it might have a cheap flimsy look and feel, being it comes in a box, unlike a bed from a furniture store delivery. But i was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to ensamble unlike some of the reviews i read that it was hard and confusing. I disagree, it was not! My 13 year old put it together in less than an hour. The parts are all labeled and instructions are clear. I don’t have a spring mattress so it’s just the mattress and it is okay but not as high. I’m planing to add 5’ memory foam topper to the existing mattress to give it some height. Highly recommend. My daughter really likes this bed frame.

Got this for my mother for her birthday for her home office/study. It was rather heavy. The assembly was easy to moderately difficult. It would help to have another person simply for the size and weight of the pieces as you put them together, but didn't take long to finish putting it together. The lower part that slides out also has some locking mechanisms to keep it from sliding around. Perfect for when my little nephew wants to spend the night and wants his own room. Looks great!
