Vitamix 58625 64-oz Container, Portion System, Touch and Go, BarBoss, Drink Machine, Vita-Prep, Clear - Container Only

Great container. We've had our Vita-Mix since 1999 and use this thing almost every day. So, it was no surprise that the container was starting to show signs of wear and tear, but the bottom had cracked, more my fault than that of the container. So, when I saw that I could order just the container, I was thrilled. Buying a new one with all the blades and lid was a lot of money, this was such a savings. It is like stepping back in time, it's the same container, same size, everything fits in it, blades and lid, and it does not leak. I love that I can fill it to the 5-cup level with really hot water, a drop of dish soap and this thing practically cleans itself...you've got to love that.

Received the item 3 days earlier than expected. Installed the blade which is removed from the broken container without any problem. Excited that I again have a perfectly working Vitamix machine!

This is a great genuine replacement for my vitamin 6300 (model VMO102B) blender. This does not have the same black handle as the original and the new handle is a slightly different size so you can’t change out the black handle cover (I know because I tried). Easy to change over the blade, you don’t really need the retainer nut wrench that Vitamix sells, I just used my hand but big pliers might be needed if yours is really stuck. Also the original lid fits great.

Unit came in a factory box, with custom packaging. Look, feel and function are perfect, logo embossed. Instructions are included, but buyer beware, you will need a specific wrench to get the parts switched. I have that wrench so no worries for me. The writeup should mention the tool, and it is suggested in the "Frequently bought together" section so PAY ATTENTION! The nut is on pretty tight but not locked. If you cannot deal with these issues get a unit with a blade included. Happy blending to all.

Beware, it has no guts. This is the plastic only, no blade assembly. They should be a bit more clear on this in the description. It says “container only” which isn’t very clear.

My original Vitamix container I purchased 10 years ago cracked after I dropped it. This was a perfect replacement although it does not have the rubber handle as my old one did. Remember, it is the canister only. The blade and lid are not included but very easy to reattach.

I purchased a Vitamix blender several years ago. At some point over the past few yrs I dropped my container and it cracked but not bad enough that I couldn't use it. I was not using my blender that often anymore so it didn't bother me that it had many dings in it and never looked clean. Since being home due to covid-19, I started using my blender more often and was realizing how nasty it looked. When I first looked a few months ago, I couldn't find anything under $80+One day I browsed and came across this container and was happy to see that it was a more manageable price. I purchased a returned item and very pleased. When I placed it next to my old container I didn't realize how disgusting it was. I used my original lid. It fits snug but works. I also ordered the 6k blender repair kit blade which was also definitely needed. I am thankful that I have the options of getting parts so easily on amazon vs buying a new blender every so often.one las comment, this container does not have a thick handle like the original. I saw a comment about this from another reviewer. I didn't pay attention to this when I purchased the item but honestly, I don't notice a difference and never think about it not having the think handle. It is so much cleaner then my original one. So glad I found this.
