Although I sent this back - partly because I had reason to believe it was a faulty unit - the lottery of warehouse deals and partly because I found that I was not using it to its full capacity. Despite this I feel I can still offer a valuable review for those looking to purchase this laptop.To start I purchased this laptop for around £800 through warehouse deals. At this price I can definitely say it is well worth it. You get a great 1080p screen, great hardware and good battery life.Can I recommend it at its price for brand new? That depends. It does compete well with other laptops that are similarly priced. It has good hardware that caters to more than one type of user. This machine can game - although do not expect amazing framerates on modern games. This machine can do light editing thanks to its mx150 graphics card. The only downside is that you have to spend more to obtain the more visually pleasing 4k screen.Things I like:A fast machine with dGPU when needed thanks to the max q software.Bright and sharp screen offering great visuals.Decent keyboard.Decent Battery life with secondary screen turned off.Fast windows hello unlocking feature even in the dark.Some things I don't like:The material is a finger print magnet.The hinge although useful for typing does not sit well on your lap. It is afterall called a 'laptop.'The screen I have found is not as useful as I found out.In conclusion, I can honestly say this laptop served me well. It was extremely fast. I think my experience with this laptop has taught me that a discrete graphics card is not necessary for the use that I had. Honestly I would opt for a cheaper unit that has a better screen if you do not plan to game or do content creation.All in all if you are looking for a good all round laptop that you can game on, creatong content and find a use for that secondary screen then this is the laptop for you. It offers great battery life - far better than gaming laptops.Just a word of advice:Know what your intended use is. This will help you discern features that you need to make the search less difficult.I hope that this review is helpful.

I've had this laptop since about September and i love it. It does everything i need and I can play video games on it too like League of Legends. The battery life is slightly on the poor side though and the brightness even on the highest level is slightly too dim during the day. I don't use the screenpad too often but when i need to write an essay and look at a plan at the same time it's super useful. Sometimes you have to press F6 a few times round until the screenpad works. Overall however I still love the laptop. It's very pretty too which is a plus!

What an incredible little unit!Firstly the build quality is great, sturdy hinge and there's no flex as you close the screen. The brushed metal finish and deep blue give a nice modern look. The keyboard feels nice, very responsive keys.The 5.5" touch pad is genius. A real touch. It's feels like a traditional touch pad and has a reassuring click. It's display is crisp and vivid. The apps provide great function, the only think I find is if I'm scrolling I tend to drag down the top menu but this is something I will adjust to.The main display, again crisp and vivid. The touch is accurate and extremely responsive. It's strange as I find myself automatically switching between touch pad, screen and keyboard as I work.Sound quality is impressive for such a small unit.I've found myself keeping a 200gb micro SD card in just for the extra storage. However this is only a precaution as I noe realise how much I keep on the cloud.All in all, perfect for my uses - a portable unit for casual editing and the ocational bit of gaming. Would highly recommend.

My screen pad, the main draw for me in buying this laptop hasn't worked in sometime. Numerous attempts to contact ASUS to fix it have resulted in no response. Seems many other ASUS owners with this spec on their laptops are going through the same issue. Tried to uninstall programs, re-install, reboot computer etc but still it doesn't work.I like the laptop, built well, looks good, but not having the screenpad working is a real pain considering the cost of it.

Gorgeous laptop and the screen-pad is absolutely magnificent. Sadly I had to send this item back due to the laptop getting very hot just sat idle without any strenuous programs running.

I bought this as a 'like new' purchase from Amazon warehouse at a big discount. Perfect item with just some opened packaging, clean and no software installed. Laptop is great fast and beautiful. Good stuff thanks.

For personal use only. Screen is very reflective and, like the outer casing of the laptop, attracts fingerprints! 😫 Still struggling with using the dual screen, but expect with time that will become easier. All in all very pleased.

I like everything about the laptop. Great capabilities, amazing Screen and Screenpad with fast response.
