It could, but would be unsightly, you would be better gettin some mini trunking, 25mm x 12mm or 25mm x 16mm should do the job and it has a cover cap which can clip off and on should you need to add cables. Remember not to have data and power leads in tge one compartment!,

Good quality trim

Good quality trim, keeps its definition on runs up to two metres. Easy to cut with a small hacksaw. I used it to replace an aluminium trim in my kitchen, looks so much better. See photos. I fixed it with clear silicone. Recommended
