Worked great for Caterpillar/Garmin integration
This was the ticket for getting my Caterpillar engine data onto the NMEA2000 bus for use by my Garmin MFPs and other displays. Well built and includes enough flexibility, including bus sniffing tools and even a protocol analyzer app on their website. Fair price too.

It took an additional adapter and some tweaking to get it up and running but it runs flawlessly!

Horrible. Experience with this company. Text support only by email Tech Support. After going back-and-forth, couldn't fix the problem. It was told by another company that this product will not work on my boat. Even though they advertise that it will, my boat has an analog system in it. I was told this will not work

Excellent support and product
First off the tech support from yach tdevices is outstanding guiding your every step and assuring functionality. Ive never seen top notch support like this. Also the Device is simple yet does exactly what i needed on my scarab brp jet boat. Highly recommended company and product.

Works as advertised
A bit of a fiddle to set up if you have twin engines, but works like a charm on our two volvo d2-40's

With my vessel, only one gateway was needed to display data from both engines.
Worked better than expected. I'm able to see engine data on my chartplotter.

Too complicated
Should be a simple plug-n-play device... and it's not. Everything connected as it should... and nothing works. This is just a simple connection from engine to Garmin chartplotter. Tech support wants pictures of everything, serial numbers, programmed SD card info, etc... Not interested in dealing with all the BS so it's all being sent back. Big fat waste of time.

Ended up not working with my Volvo D2-55b but their support is awesome! Very nice and quick to deal with.

Worked right out of the box for me to connect my Volvo D1-20 wo my network and display engine data on my Ray Marine devices. After reading the instructions, I found no issues at all to install.

I bought this (second unit i buy- first one worked faultlessly from amazon.com) and i just managed to install it. this one is completely DEAD. doesn't work. I plugged in my older one from the other engine, and its working fine. So this item faulty and i can't find a replacement/ contact seller to replace it. I am over seas in Dubai, and i don't wish to pay shipping again back to seller to replace it. i need a replacement. Please advise.
