Regular spade connectors....I used the original ones when I replaced them

No, mine did not. I bought it later from a store in town.

Can they be mounted on a 7 1/2" cut out?

don't think so,...........unless...........you make a reducer plate that attaches to your mounting area with the proper sized hole in it to mount the speaker. You could make it out of a piece of opaque plastic, such as modified acrylic or expanded styrene or some other suitable material. If you have craftmaking skills it doesn't present much of a challenge, imho.
