Spoiler free review:This series is the direct reason Star Wars is still alive. When these books came out, there was NOTHING new or in the works. IMO, because of the level of skill in writing, Zahn woke up a sleeping fan base. As of now (2021) it is not cannon, but if you read it, you may long for a “Thrawn trilogy” as I have for thirty years now…

I bought these Thrawn books after complaining about Star Wars/Disney. Books are nice in that they let you adapt the story and characters to a degree within your own imagination. Instead of being forced (zing) to imagine Leia as an elderly diaper wearing Marry Poppins, I can instead imagine her literally any other way than in the sequel trilogy. Good times were had by all.

Before purchasing I asked for some more details on the condition. They arrived quickly and were in even better shape than I expected. Plenty of extra care was obviously taken to ensure these collectible books remained in perfect shape on their journey to me. There was a personalized note wishing me well on my upcoming wedding! (I'll be displaying the books at our table :) !! -- something I mentioned when messaging about the condition)!

I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone, but this is a great read for anyone who is a fan of the Original Trilogy or sci-fi in general. Must read, and a much better use of your time over the sequel trilogies.

the story is very good.the only problem i have with this trilogy is that tow books r the same but one of them is not. it looks funny on the shelf. my son is slightly disappointed.

I read through these books with such fascination. The writing pulls you in and leaves you wanting for more. My only complaint is the end…but you know what. That’s why it’s the end

The 3 books arrived in a single package and they look brand new, just perfect. Now I can finally go back to the actual trilogy we deserved, not that dreadful thing we got from Disney.

Sorry for the late review, but I am immensely happy with my product. You have granted me a small portion of my childhood back. Thank you, they're in excellent condition, just like my old trilogy I had so long ago.
