Fantastic quality at a reasonable price
After comparing with cheaper unknown brands and finding the optics atrocious, I ordered this plus a big name much more expensive to compare both before making any decision. The more expensive one with the top quality lenses was brilliant, but needed two hands to operate the focus. This one though had images almost equal in quality, really hard to tell the difference, and can easily be operated with one hand. Yes the overall size is far greater but in some ways that can be an advantage.Getting the phone adaptor and a small tripod of very acceptable quality, and all for less than half the price of the big name competitor made it a no-brainer. I've never heard of this brand before but will very happily recommend it to anyone looking for a useful item to pack whenever outdoors.

Excellent Scope at a good price
I decided to try this scope as my introduction to Digiscoping and it proved its worth having gained many good views and piccies using my phone. It is very robust and easy to use.It does have some downsides though. The tripod supplied with it is very small and of no use to me so has had to be replaced with a better one to provide stability that is required. The other problem I have faced is that of the magnification. It is simply too much. 20x doesn't sound a lot but when you are at the top of a mountain trying to take a picture of the liner you are cruising in at the bottom and you can only get less than half of the ship into view you will get an idea of the problem. It is amazing at distance with great clarity and sharpness. At mid range, like most scopes, its hard to centre on the objective before it has flown away or moved. At close ranges its almost impossible which I believe is common with scopes in general.Customer service from GoSky hasn't been the best due to issues with registering the warranty and a failure to repond to another issue.Overall its a good quality product with a low pricetag.

Arrived safely and well boxed up.
I bought the Ghsky 12×55 monocular telescope for my Grandson for this Christmas 2023. I had to have a go of it and i couldn't believe how Crystal clear the view was and quite powerful too. The phone adapter is well made and the tripod is too. The monocular is really well made and very good quality. Nice green strong rubber coated and fits nicely in your hand. Also comes with a strap which when fixed to monocular, it can be adjusted to fit your hand. Plus a nice quality storage case which can be attacted to a waist bent and a cleaning cloth for lences. Front rubber dust cap which hangs off when using the monocular so not to loose it. The eye cap is free, but i have tied it with some strong fishing line. I highly recommend this monocular telescope, beats a pair of binoculars where you get double vision and have to mess around until you get them focused, where as with monoculars it's straight to your eye and focus them. I had thinking of getting myself one of these. Oh and when you fix your mobile phone, your able to zoom in even more from your phone and the pictures are great and video whatever and share them to family and friends. FIVE STARS and well worth every penny.....

Rather bulky
It is a 4 star product, but regrettably I had to return it. The monocular was extremely well made, and I am speaking for someone who had used Pentax, Nikon, Zeiss, and Leica binoculars. I developed a problem with one eye at old age, and binoculars are wasted on me, so I was shopping for a high-quality monocular. While the construction of Gosky was on par with highend binoculars, the optics were obviously not as crispy as a Leica, but it will be unreasonable to expect so at this price. The reason for my return was I could not hold it steady one handed at 12x magnification. It improved a lot if I mounted it on a small tripot and held the tripot with one hand, and steady the monocular with the other hand, but that didn't help with the bulk and weight, and became clumsy to carry around. The monocular was also too bulky for theatre use. I did not test the phone mount attachment, it seemed solidly made. But could be fiddly if you were to use it with large and heavy phones.

Fantastic little scope.
So glad I decided on this bit of kit. I hesitated between this and the more expensive version, but TBH I don't really see how this can be improved on.It may only be 12x but the crispness and brightness are amazing. Very portable; fully assembled with both lens caps on and the eye cup already extended for non-glasses users it is exactly 7" long...just shy of 18cm. As such, it easily fits into the small shoulder pack I use for my 360 camera and extension sticks. While on the subject of sticks, I'd recommend using this with a monopod rather than a full tripod, unless you intend to set up and pre-focus on a particular spot. It's pretty wobbly when just hand held, but a monopod will eliminate at least 90% of this and provide a stable enough platform for a decent photo. My experience with a couple of tripods (studio and portable) was that you'd likely loose the shot by the time you got everything just right. Being as compact as this scope is, the pan/tilt head on a tripod gets in the way of your face and has to be used reversed. When in a subject-rich environment you can carry this already attached to a monopod, drop the legs and be in business in a matter of seconds.I was a little concerned that my phone wouldn't fit. I have a Samsung Galaxy M31 with a bank of lenses in the top left corner. I needn't have worried; the phone holder is very adaptable and fits over the main HDR lens with no problem. I can't imagine many other people having a problem either. The clamp extends quite a way too for wider phones.Photos are chimney pots at 20 yds; moving train at 1 mile; offices at 7 miles.
