Smart design and reasonable price! I trust it to hold my 4,500$ flute.
This little thing works GREAT! The man who serviced my 20 year old Murumatsu Flute (Canter Flute Repair if you're in Oregon, best tech around and he is certified to work on Murumatsu Flutes!) recommended this item. Its cheap but it really works well! The design is just smart! My flute is worth around 4,500$ used and 6,000$ new, and I absolutely trust this flute stand to hold it! Perfectly sturdy!

Impressively sturdy for such a small size!
I had the knockoff brands that are under $10 for years, and just got used to the slight tilt, especially on soft surfaces like carpet, where the flute looks a little precarious (never had an accident, thankfully). Then I decided to splurge and pay 2-3x more to get this one. OMG! IT'S SO STABLE! I can't believe it looks the same as the other cheap brands, but the legs are so sturdy, it doesn't wobby, and it even stands on my bed comforter without any wobble with a silver flute on it. I had tow write a review for it just because of how amazing the build quality is. Kudos to K&M and I'll definitely buy from them again (I'll probably get a 2nd one soon).

Used by professionals
This is my second K&M piccolo stand. The first one actually broke, with a sheared off screw, after years of use. I’m a professional flutist who travels to different venues a lot, so I need a light-weight, portable and reliable piccolo stand. This is the best. If I wanted more sturdiness, or height, or combo with a flute stand, there are other excellent options, but the trade-off is much more weight, cost and bulkiness. I like having my picc stand be separate from my flute stand, too. I can arrange them differently depending on how much time I’m spending on each instrument, or if the instrument changes have to be done really quickly. So for me this stand is absolutely necessary gear. I think most professionals who have the same needs use them, too, based on my experience. Highly recommend.

Works great with regular flutes but not bass flutes
The title of the product noted suitable for bass, cross, and Bahm flutes. Package when it arrived said only cross and bahm flutes. I tried on my bass flute and it fell over. Works well with my regular flute.

The standard for flute stands.
These stands are perfect for musicians that play in a pit because it takes up very little space. Especially those that are multi-instrumentalists. I ended up losing my original one I had from High school so I figured I would get another. Having my flute out on a stand at home makes it more likely that I will practice more often. I would recommend cleaning your flute after playing and setting it on the stand. Also there the potential for the flute to collect dust if not in use and that could affect the mechanisms. Where this stand shines is that is ultra-portable. It easily fits in a pocket or case and it’s ready to use in seconds. Love this design. The trade off with it being so small and portable is that it isn’t the most sturdy stand I’ve seen. It won’t topple over, but if you bump into it it will wiggle around. Don’t hesitate to buy this.

A true gem, indispensable
A gem of German engineering. This tiny flute stand does exactly what I need it to do: gives me a place to set the flute (C-flute only, alto is much too large, picc wouldn't fit) in a non-threatening environment. I only use it while I am on the stand; I don't believe it's heavy enough to keep the flute safe when people are walking , as during a break/intermission, and for me, I wouldn't use it in the pit. For those situations we have the Hercules. But this little K&M has a permanent place in my flute bag, where it adds about as much weight as a stick of butter with a slice cut off. Very highly recommend. I'm glad I kept scrolling past all the other products.

This is a great stand for carrying around. The legs fold up and it all screws together into one small cylinder, which, I'm told, can be inserted into the end of a flute section for ease of transport. It's stable but light; I find it great at band practice, but I use a heavier one at home.

De muy buena calidad para una flauta soprano, es liviano y cumple lo que promete.

It does just what I wanted it for, which is to stand an Irish wooden flute. The 'spike' or whatever the bit that into the end of the flute is called, is thinner than I expected but easily strong enough since it's made of plastic covered steel. It seems to be nice and stable and folds away to pocket size. Bit pricey, but worth it.

Bueno para llevar contigo, ocupa poco y no pesa, es estable dentro de sus posibilidades, intentar no tropezar con el, no se cae facil y encaja bien, quizás un tope blando lo mejoraria
