I like the clicky buttons but like what else is there to say. Its a good option for a usb hub with on/off buttons

Bought several of these 8 years ago. I'm back to buy a couple more because I have a use for more. The old ones are still working like they're brand new. Thanks for making a quality item that lasts.

With my ever growing group of devices, I once again found myself in need of a new USB hub. My needs were simple, I had no intention of connecting a hard drive or anything that would draw a significant amount of power, all I wanted to do was connect multiple input devices like keyboards, trackpads and gamepads. I came across this Sabrent model with individual on/off switches for each port and liked that idea. This hub is inexpensive and has performed the function for which I needed it very well. As is often the case, you do get what you pay for so this hub doesn't feel very solidly constructed and the lights above the ports kind of bleed over into adjacent ones and I ran into one minor issue with it where for a time it failed to recognize the trackpad on a keyboard/trackpad combination device. It has worked flawlessly aside from that one hiccup. One thing to bear in mind if you plan to use this to connect external storage is that it is a USB 2.0 hub, so you will not get the best transfer speeds out of USB 3.0 devices. Also, as this hub is not powered, you may need to run into some issues depending on the computer or whatever device to which this hub is connected. I use it primarily on an NVIDIA Shield Android TV and have not run into that issue. I have also briefly tested it on a couple of computers. If you have a need to connect simple devices without a significant power draw and would like the ability to enable or disable them at the touch of a button, this unit will fit the bill nicely and is easy on the wallet. If you need a hub for storage devices or other devices that may need to draw more power from the host unit, you'll probably want to look into a powered hub instead.

I love this! It works great, I keep one on my home computer and one at work. Never have had any issue, always lights up and acknowledges anything I plug in

It worked perfect for three years. Three years later it still works great but one of the indicator LEDs went out. So the hub and port switches work fine but one LED won't turn on. The port still turns on so it is a minor inconvenience.

A USB-C hub is pretty much essential if you plan to use desktop mode on the Steam Deck and aren't planning on buying a dock. You don't strictly have to get a hub, since everything from controlling the device to transferring files can be done with free software solutions, but this thing makes life a lot easier, and it's not very expensive. Since it can also do everything a dock would do for the Deck (except stand it up and make it look nice), you could get this instead to save the most money. But if you might want the dock, you don't need to get this as well. Bang for the buck purchase. Recommended for use with the Steam Deck or any general purpose USB-C hub stuff.

I can use this with my Huawei mobile to output to a screen in desktop mode and also as a portable dock for my Nintendo Switch to large screen and power in to the Switch. Its well made and compact and I'm sure it will also prove useful in other ways as it also includes memory card slots along with USB 2 and 3 slots.

You can hardly find any other extender with switches at this price. Been owning since 4 years now and they are working good fine. Plus value for money

Las medidas del dispositivo son 8,4 x 1,4 x 3,1 cm, relativamente pequeño y es muy ligero. Esta fabricado en un tipo de plástico que se ve bastante resistente. La conexión Usb es 2.0 y plug and play, es decir que es enchufar al pc y no hay que instalar nada extra. Consta de 4 puertos Usb, en los cuales se encenderá un led que nos indica la velocidad de transmisión de datos. La máxima velocidad de transferencia de datos es de 480 Mbps. Soporta los sistemas operativos Mac OS 9.1 o superior, Windows 98SE /ME /2000 /XP /Vista /7/8 y Linux 2.4 o superior. Lo he testado en un windows 8 y un linux, y sin ninguna incidencia. Es ideal para hoy en día que tenemos portátiles con pocos puertos y necesitamos conectar varios dispositivos a la vez. Os lo recomiendo, me ha parecido muy útil y de buena calidad.
