This is my first time purchasing a 3 month planner. I was not sure how I would like it, until I purchased this one. Needless to say I am very happy with this planner for a variety of reasons. The cover is great, it reminds me of a bullet journal and it is very sturdy, thick and has a great feel. The color is exactly what I wanted because it matches my desk accessories, along with my cases for all of my Apple products. There is a strap on the back of the planner that can be used on the inside of the back cover or on the front cover to keep it closed, secure and away from prying eyes. The pages on the inside are all undated so you can start this journal anytime during the year and not have to wait for a certain month to start planning. On the very first page there is an invitation to take a Character Strengths Survey with the link of the website included. Then there is a manual of how to use the planner each day, week and month. I find the manual to be very helpful especially since this is my first time trying a planner like this.The planner pages are made of great quality, nice and thick pages not thin and all. Some of the pens I use tend to bleed in other planners but this planner is not giving me any problems with that. There are 3 parts to this planner, one for each category such as the daily pages, weekly pages and monthly pages. It is a great setup that is keeping me on target for my goals I want to accomplish by the end of this year. There are also 3 ribbons attached to the planner to place on the pages you are working on, a great bonus so I can turn right to the page instead of looking for it.There are 6 months of the monthly calendars inside this planner to fill out. Very happy that they included extra months so I can plan ahead and not have to write my appointments in another book or have sticky notes. The weekly pages are fun to use because there is more than just your weekly appointments and projects to fill out. Such as weekly strengths, big wins, what to improve, goals and your passion projects for that week. It really keeps you on target to meet your goals if you use this planner every day. Then the daily pages consist of 2 page layout that has a Schedule Time form the hours of 6 am to 9 pm. Each day it asks you to fill out what you are grateful for, what you are excited about, strength affirmation, focus, exercise, tasks and priorities. Then at the end of each day you can write down your wins for that day along with strength appreciated in others. At first I was not sure if I would be using the daily pages or put stickers over it to change the boxes but it has actually been helpful to use the planner as is.So far this planner has been really helping me and keeps me excited as I see my goals being accomplished. Since the planner is for 3 months it makes it great to work with if you need to accomplish goals on a quarter basis professionally or personally. I like that I can focus on what needs to be done for the next 3 months instead of worrying about my goals for the year. Just getting through the first quarter is helpful to work on the next quarter when it is time. As a first time user of this planner, my experience is very positive. This planner is better than working out a full year planner. When I am done with this one, I will be purchasing another one. I also like that when I am finished I can add a sticker on top to write down what quarter that planner was used for and then file it away. This is a planner I would recommend to others for sure!

I have spent the last few months trying to organize my life digitally. That DOES NOT work for me.As I was shopping for a new planner, I came across the Panda Planner. I printed off the sample pages from the website and loved it immediately. I got so much done that first weekend that I was able to focus on one of my passions: crocheting.I decided to purchase the Via because I am going through a lot of changes at work. I was given a huge promotion with a lot more responsibility. I wanted to be able to hone in on my character strengths in order to be successful, rather than just tick off tasks on my to-do list and focus on numbers.The Via has helped me focus on my lesser character strengths. Last month I worked on leadership, and found that leadership tasks require a lot of discipline and self-regulation; things I would not have reflected on without the planner laying it out for me.This month I chose kindness as my focus strength. I focus one kindness affirmation each week. This week it is listening with more compassion and with my whole attention.Each month you are prompted to do two random acts of kindness for specific people. That helps me get excited and plan on doing loving things for the small group of people in my life. Last month’s random act was to gift my office manager a Panda Planner. This month, one of my planned acts was to give my boyfriend a little trinket for a milestone in his life. I like being able to get excited for planned acts of love.This planner is probably the best I have used. I like that it is undated and I can jump back into the daily pages at any time. I like that it asks you to recognize character strengths is others at the end of each day. I think that going over the wins of my own day as well as one of someone else’s is a huge help for a positive mental attitude.I would highly recommend this planner to anyone seeking a better quality of life.

This made me appreciate the use of calendars. I look forward by writing on it daily. ❤️

This review is for the Panda Planner Via Character Strengths Edition.Nice planner, but there's really not much to the "character-strength based approach" that is very beneficial as far as I'm concerned. They have you do an online quiz which shows which character traits are strongest to weakest, then you write a "strength affirmation" on one of those of your choosing each day, but there aren't any guided entries or that kind of thing to go along with that in the planner, and everyone gets the same character traits (although they may be ranked differently). Next you record your priorities, choosing a "strength to use" for each.Every page is the same.I think it's a good idea in concept, but the lack of guidance, suggestions, motivational statements, etc. on how to use these strengths is lacking.I just finished a journal by HabitNest (Morning Sidekick Journal) that I think was much more effective for keeping me motivated and on track. I was hoping this would have some similarities, but it doesn't.By the way, I saw another reviewer said it costs $50 to print out the strengths after you do the quiz. That's not really true. You can print out your report for free, but you have to pay to get a more in-depth report. You don't need to do that to use the journal.

My panda planner is helping me to focus on my strengths, approach my work more calmly, and get over my fear of journaling. Can’t recommend the VIA version highly enough!

My item arrived bent and broken. Paying over £30 for a black and white notepad at least the quality would be good. You would not have been able to sell it in the shop but hope to push it on amazon! Furthermore, if I wanted to return this item I have to pay for it myself. Meanwhile complaining about my defective item proved difficult to accomplish. It really is dissapointing and I will be persistent in making further complaints.
