Great Alternative to the Sinful Chocolate
What a great alternative to a chocolate bar! I liked the milk chocolate bar better than the dark one which seemed more bitter than the regular dark chocolate. Smooth, creamy and sweet! Like I said before, it’s a great alternative, especially if you are trying to manage your blood sugar.

Delicious!
Delicious. If you like chocolate, these are great. I bought the box and keep in the refrigerator & break off a piece for my occasional chocolate urge. They have lasted a long time in the refrigerator.

No Sugar or Junk
I am a diabetic and had some points, and I've been craving chocolate, so I pulled the trigger on a box of these. They're all gone now, let me tell you.

Delicious!
Threes are so good without the sugar or icky stuff. Texture is smooth and not grainy. Taste great!

Delish
Well worth it! I feel like this is truly a “healthy chocolate.” Especially for a late night snack/munchie ;) it satisfies your craving/sweet tooth, I’d say! Like another use mentioned, the crunch (I put mine in the refrigerator) is just so satisfying of a texture, yet still creamy…I think it would also go good with wine, and served on a charcuterie board type of idea! (I.e. add some fresh strawberries, or even melt the chocolate over them & then stick in the refrigerator over night! Ooo I’m giving myself ideas ;) The only thing I take a star off for…is the price, I guess paying $3 & over a quarter per bar is the going rate? Sigh, in this climate & economy, sometimes a girls gotta splurge I guess!

Contains Lead According to Consumer Reports
I was a die hard Lily’s fan due to “no sugar” until Consumer Reports announced recently that many of the top chocolate brands including Lily’s contain lead and cadmium which are toxic ants. In fact, Lily’s was one of the highest and specifically their dark chocolate. It was in the news.It has something to do with the manufacturing process and is something that can be avoided. They lay the beans out in the sun and dust from dirt containing lead blows over them contaminating them if I understood correctly but do your own research and Google the article to read for yourself. I’m not sure how they get away with selling them but there are flaws in the oversight system.I also follow Lead Safe Mama on Instagram and she has known about this for ten years. Now my mom died five years from brain cancer and had none of the risk factors for cancer except maybe stress. She ate chocolate daily, not Lily’s that I know of, but other brands that were on that lead contaminated list.I now only buy the dark chocolate brands that are listed as safe from that list and. My New Year’s resolution is to cut out chocolate products except for safe brands and to eat on occasion as opposed to daily.Especially for children, minimizing lead exposure is so important. I have a 7yo with Tourette’s & adhd who is gluten, dairy and sugar free and I cringe when I think I used to only let her use Lily’s for s’mores when camping. Not anymore!Do better Lily’s!! Your customers deserve more!!
