I tried it today and I’m incredibly happy with the results!! My expectations weren’t for this to straighten my hair, just loosen my 4a curls in the back of my head. The front curls are already looser (3a/3c) from straightening with heat so I wanted to blend them and help with my styling routine of always having to stretch the curls in the back to match the length of the rest of my hair when curly (when straight, it’s all one length). I bought the clarifying shampoo and mask and used as directed but left the pieces out that didn’t need it. I blowdried all of my hair with my regular comb attachment, not a brush, to activate the treatment and straightened (at 390 degrees). I didn’t do a meticulous job straightening since this was my first time using this product and didn’t want heat damage. I basically just went over my hair 2-3 times, really quickly, focusing mainly just on the hair I wanted stretched. I didn’t straighten as I would if I was actually styling my hair. I immediately washed afterwards and styled as usual. The hair in the back now matches the front and I gained a full inch to 1.5 inches in the back!! I will say there is slight smell. Smells like carpet that’s been freshly vacuumed when you have a pet. It’s not terribly strong but it’s there. I’m hoping it will wash out with time but for me it’s worth it for the benefit it provided on my hair. I use strong smelling products so that helps. I’ll probably be more meticulous with straightening next time I use this to see how it really works but thought it best to err on the side of caution for the first use. The frizz is still there but my hair is incredibly frizzy to begin with and I didn’t use it exactly as directed. Hope this review helps!UPDATE: The smell fades after about 5 washes (I did use a sulfate shampoo a couple times even though you’re not supposed to). Nearly a month later, my curls still look great and styling is so much easier which saves me a lot of time!

I bought it for my mom and did it for her and she loved it. Very easy to use and the results are amazing. Her hair looks healthier now.

It was amazing. A clean smell and it was the same as what I usually get in the salon done for 300. It was worth every penny. Used on medium thick African American hair .

Q alguien me ayude. Me lo apliqué hace una semana y las puntas están quemadas y abiertas y algo duro el cabello en general excepto la raíz q si se siente suave. Tengo el champú y acondicionador de la misma marca y pensé q al lavarlo se sentiría mejor. Pero sigue igual. Q hago ????

I have super curly hair, and live in a very humid area. I didnt expect this product to straighten my hair just tame the frizz when I do straighten it or wear it curly. I can tell you I will be using this treatment from now on instead going to the salon!
