This is great; easy to program Smart NFC Ring - works well and very cheap. Well recommended and looks cool. The sizes are slightly generous and it may be better to order one size less than you usually take. Strong and well made and is waterproof. Works with NFC phones. There are no instructions but these can be Googled for. It has a capacity of 180 bytes - 45 pages with available 137 bytes 28; being a tag type 2 iso 14443 3A. Technology NFcA Mifare Ultralite NDef. These rings automate functions on your phone via NFC (as used in I Pay or Android Pay. It can be used to give someone your details by tapping it on the back of their phone or programmed to communicate with your phone to lock or unlock it with a tap; or open data web pages etc. You can download the necessary tools from the Play store = NFC Tools etc. As a basic NFC smart ring it is really good and a bargain at the price. More expensive rings are more sensitive - but that's all.It is fun and look great and comfortable to wear.Enjoy

OK, so this ring works, however, the ring has to be right next to the phone which means it won't work throughmy phone case, and the number of bytes held is pretty low.However, it's as advertised, and for long term storage of small amounts of data, it's a pretty cool device sono real complaints from me.I suppose it's very limited range, plus the fact that the nfc itself is surrounded by the faraday shielding of the ring itselfwould make this device 'reasonably' secure from rfid scanners unless they got really close.

Having had several 'official' NFC rings, and having had them all fail on me in one way or another, I'm happy to say that this is a much better product, at a much lower price.It has survived knocks, scrapes, and water without any issues. I wear it in the shower every day and haven't had any problems. No oxidization, the NFC chip hasn't fallen out of the ring, and it is still readable.

I have worked with many NFC readers, writers and tags over the last 3 years, I've written my own software in C and Node.JS and libnfc and cannot get this ring to work with any of the readers I have or my LG G4 or LG G5.The only device that even recognises this tag is the HID door access system in work but that's proprietary so is useless to me.Seller is refusing to give a refund so am writing this review to warn others instead.Will get myself a ring that's not metal elsewhere as I think that is the cause of the problem(s).Martin

Got ring set as it tells you too.it does not work.i would not recommend any body body to buy this.it not cost much but you expect it work.not very happy with it
