On time shipping, will be good mention of scale being with plastic top as was looking for steel top as the scale usage purpose for shipping.

Easy Shipping with this Scale
I bought this used, and worried about the condition and functionality of it. I have now set it up and used it for a month and enjoy having it for our shipping needs. It is really nice NOT having to go to the FedEx office to complete my shipping. With my label printer and scale I have brought FedEx home.

This scale is being used to weigh packages in our Federal Express department, along with a printer, to make the correct weight and labels.

plastic top
The ad says "ABS plastic, stainless steel, ball top or roller top platforms" so it's unclear what you are getting. There are not photos of the product just the box, One of thee answers says the top in Stainless. THIS IS PLASTIC!!! Seller will not respond
