Great as a workshop toolbox. Came with one side either damaged or it was a manufacturing error. Corner didn't seem folded right. Had to hammer into shape. But besides that and a 2 min fix it's a great yoolbox

This is really good quality and has plenty of room. The drawers have very sturdy runners and came with foam lining so the tools stay in place when you open / close them. One drawback is that the box can move when you pull the drawers open as they are quite tight, but I solved that by screwing a small baton in from of it to take the pressure when you pull the drawer.

This tool chest was really well packed, in a strong cardboard box with extra support where required, plus reinforced internal material to prevent damage and as such, it arrived undamaged.This review is for the VonHaus Tool Chest with four rows of drawers and one top compartment.Empty it is quite heavy at 11.5kg and when it is filled, it is heavier at approximately 20kg, as such you wouldn't want to carry it too far.It is a double-edged sword regarding construction. Whilst it is fit for purpose, the metal used is quite thin and I suspect it would not stand much abuse, mishandling or overloading. That said, if the metal were any thicker, the chest would be even heavier, so……..The Tool Chest looks really smart, professional, is fit for purpose and thus far I am very pleased!I did lubricate the top lid hinge/support mechanism as it was rather tight and it now operates smoothly.The top compartment is spacious, deep, full depth* (* front to rear) and the bottom is lined with an anti-slip liner. The lid opens smoothly to 90 degrees and remains open.The top row of drawers are split into three, the lower three drawers are full width. The top three rows are not overly deep but adequate. The bottom drawer is much deeper.All the drawers have limited depth* in comparison the top compartment but are more than adequate.All the drawers open and close smoothly on bearings, with a slight resistance upon closing/opening and as such, once pushed closed, they remain closed.For security, or if you choose to move/transport the chest, it comes supplied with two metal bars that fit vertically in front of the drawers via the top compartment and as such, when the lid is closed and locked, all the drawers are secure and cannot be opened.If I have any issues, I’ll amend this review, but thus far, I’m impressed and I Highly Recommend this Tool Chest.

I have had the vonhous toolbox for a few months now, here is my honest opinion.Over all and for the money the quality is good enough.The lock is not much good, as a result I put 2 shed type locks on it one either side.(With padlocks)As others mentioned it's just a little bit to small in places.An example is the drawers are to small to fit a 19mm spanner in.Larger electrical screwdrivers also won't fit.The draws are also a little shallow.I have no regrets buying it, but. Now wish I went for the larger one.I used it for what it is longer things go in the other draws.When I get time I will take a pic of the toolbox with my tools in it.

Arrived today, slightly disappointed it was 2 days late, but I’ll let that slide, I’ve purchased this to organise my tools for bicycles, currently they are all thrown in on plastic tool box, and now I feel I’ve reached the age where storage and tool organisation should be the way.First impressions are it’s a solid well made box draws are smooth lid seems slightly flimsy, (but just need to be mindful of it). There’s non slip matting which I’ll be replacing with foam to give it a cooler look. I’ve looked a similar products that are more money but on first impressions this is great value for money. Can’t wait to get it filled up with properly organised tools.
