Update International (MPW-48) 48" Wooden Mixing Paddle

It was exactly what we needed!!! We make home made chili out of everything in our garden at the end of the season. We make it in our turkey fryer and we needed something to stir it with and this worked great. It was long enough and very sturdy!!! Highly recommend

I bought this mixing paddle to help me when I was preparing a gumbo for 120 people. Using this paddle, I was able to cook my gumbo in one really big pot outside on the jobsite. The paddle is very well made. It was perfect for the gumbo pot that I used. The flat edge allowed me to scrape the bottom of the pot easily. After, it cleaned up extremely easily and I detected no residual effect of the gumbo, smell or stain, on the paddle. I believe that I have found a go-to Christmas presents for all of my Cajun Chef friends for their big gumbos and crawfish boils.

No idea how well this works as a mixing paddle but it was absolutely perfect for my intended purpose for it. We have a button that needs to be pressed in order to open a door. However, that button is just outside of arm's reach so an extension was desired that was sturdy and had a flat surface to press said button. The effect of this button pusher was further enhanced by placing some padding around the button to facilitate giving it a good whack with the paddle. If you are in the market for a long button smacker then look no further.

These are the worst! I bought 2 and they both separated into 3 pieces when making tomato sauce, in the sauce. Had to fish the wood pieces out. Useless, as they don’t make them out of one piece of wood, they glue 3 pieces together. Don’t waste your money!!

Perfect gumbo spoon! Long enough and sturdy enough to get the job done. There was also a predrilled hole in the handle for somewhere to hang it by which is a nice touch.

We use these mixing paddles for making KettleKorn. The quality is average, some warped, some discolored. But. to be fair, our price was only 5.65 from TigerChef.

Worked great making apple butter over the week end. BUT the water based glue came apart just after a couple hours.
