Great product. Would buy again!
I bought this to make an Asian fried chicken meal for family and friends. I didn’t wanna have to make a special trip to the Asian grocery store, so I ordered it from Amazon. I was very pleased with the quality. I would definitely buy this product again.

BEST Starch for Frying Asian Foods
This is actually the second time I’ve ordered this Sweet Potato Starch! I was so happy to find JDJ Trading Co. and even more delighted that I could so easily find this product. Being that I live in a small rural town, I can’t always find the ingredients I need to prepare my family’s favorite meals. Sweet Potato Starch is the BEST type of starch to use in making super crispy fried Asian foods. Jesse and Karen of JDJ Trading are very personable, and I appreciated their kind interest in my purchase. I look forward to exploring further the products they provide.

Great for Authentic Taiwanese Fried Dishes
I purchased this sweet potato starch to help recreate some fried dishes I enjoyed while traveling in Taiwan, and it worked perfectly. The starch creates a light, crispy coating that’s very similar to what I experienced there. It fries up beautifully and gives food a delicious texture and crust. The product quality seems excellent, and it performed exactly as I hoped when used for frying. If you’re trying to make authentic Taiwanese-style fried dishes at home, this sweet potato starch is a great choice.

Poor coating
I saw this used on America's Test Kitchen as a gluten free coating for pork chops. They described it as very crispy, so I ordered some. I got thr coarse version as recommended. Its very powdery, leaving a dusty coating all over the kitchen. It absorbed the oil massively. It is more hard than crisp. It does stick well. Has no flavor. I had to work very hard to get it to absorb and fry all over. It left areas that remainer white and dusty. Overall a poor choice. Crushed Rice Checks works best. The remainder is going into the compost

Incorrect label in picture says Thick but delivered thin
Product arrived in good condition however pictured says thick or coarse sweet potato starch yet I received thin or fine potato starch. So the Taiwanese crispy fried chicken I wanted to make is lacking in texture. Unfortunately I made it today 2 days after my return or refund window.
