Best shampoo I've encountered

I keep a tube of this and the conditioner in my large travel cosmetic bag. Doesn’t leak and doesn’t take up much room. Great stuff-perfect for camping and any type of travel. Works well with any type of water as well-hard, soft, river water (lol), whatever! A little goes a long way. I’ve had my last tube in my luggage for 9 years and just running out. Granted, I don’t always take my large travel cosmetic bag when I fly, but still…great deal for the money for me.

After using the Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich™ Nourishing Shampoo for about three weeks, I can confidently say that it delivers a luxurious cleansing experience while noticeably improving hair strength, volume, and overall smoothness. The standout feature is the Biotin B-7 Complex, which seems to make a real difference in hair texture and fullness. I have fine, soft hair that tends to fall flat throughout the day, but this shampoo gave my roots a subtle lift and helped maintain volume far longer than typical shampoos. The improvement wasn’t just immediate—my hair’s manageability improved day by day. Despite having solid cleansing power, the shampoo is surprisingly gentle on the scalp. I experienced no dryness, tightness, or irritation, which can often be an issue with richer formulas. The lather is creamy and abundant, and it spreads evenly with very little product. I was at a Hilton in Clearwater, FL and they give you this shampoo. I loved it so much (and could only swipe a few from housekeeping!), that I bought it here. It's very expensive imo, and I have little hair (I'm a guy with a crew cut), so I can't speak to some of its qualities. I don't know how it is on long hair, for body or anything else. I bought it for the scent which I love and that's that. It's pricey for that privilege.

I've loved PTR shampoo and conditioner for years! My hair use to be over processed and just would not grow. Once I started using these products the condition of my hair improved drastically, which in return has allowed for my hair to grow. It's actually gotten down to upper back and before it never even got to my shoulders. Now I get my hair cut by several inches about every 6 months. As a licensed cosmetologist, I tend to push the limits of my own hair versus my clients and this is one product line I always recommend for those struggling for hair growth. This has improved my hair density as well. It has a great fresh scent to it. The only thing is you have to imulsify the product in your hands and you must have extremely wet hair.
