Works well even under low light conditions
I've been looking for a UV meter for a while - most are junk. This one seems to work well - from bright sunlight to dim interior sources of UV. I'm able to measure exactly how much UV light makes it through windows, glasses, etc. I found most sunglasses block nearly all UV light. While car windows (especially side windows) dont block much. Really nice to get a quantitative number!

Waste of Money
The instrument worked for one day. After that, the readout was zero. Even in the hot Texas sun, the instrument read zero. What a waste of money.

Useful to verify that glasses advertised as UV blocking actually do so.
It allows me to verify that glasses advertised as UV blocking actually do so. I am at high risk for macular degeneration and need to limit how much UV hits my retinas. Easy to use.

Battery doesn't fit
First, it was supposed to come with 2 AAA batteries, but it didn't. Second, there was a flaw in one of the battery compartments so that a AAA battery wouldn't fit.

Slow reading
It takes sometimes over 10 seconds to get a stable reading.

These are such amazing gadgets! I haven't used this brand yet! I am looking forward to finding one to compare with my current tool!!! Specs show it should be a way better product!
