Must Read for people taking road less travelled
When I read The Dip by Seth Godin, I felt a shift in how I view challenges and decision-making. The book helped me recognize that struggles are often a natural part of achieving greatness, but not all battles are worth fighting. It had literally inspired me to focus on meaningful goals, quit distractions, and strive for excellence where it truly counts.

Good short read with some important takeaways
The good thing about the book is that the author has conveyed the message in a short and straightforward manner. And it's an interesting topic as it teaches you when to quit. An important lesson for everyone who wants to progress in life and to achieve his/ her ultimate goal. What I don't like about the book is that some of the ideas are repeated more than once which kinda affect the flow. This book can be read by anyone who wants to move forward in life.

An interesting way of decision making in a world obsessed with pure grit
There are a lot of books, people and inspirational posters that scream at you to keep going, keep trying. " Try and try until you succeed" goes the adage. This book presents a view that that is one strategy and you should know when to keep trying and when to quit.Through the metaphors of dip, cul-de-sac and dip the author presents a case for trying and sticking with it when you encounter a scenario that has huge potential of you work on it, intentionally quitting cul-de-sacs ( ventures where as hard as you try the payoff isn't worth it or isn't possible or it's not going to get any better) and cliffs (ventures that are doomed).A quick read too and the style of writing is pretty direct without rambling anecdotes to distract you from the main point

Short but repetitive
Finished it in one sitting (didn’t quit in the dip), but a lot of concepts were repetitive. The basic idea is to either quit early or quit tactics or quit when going nowhere, but don’t quit because of short term pain. Or if you can’t withstand the pain, don’t start. The author has basically repeated this with examples of businesses and employees and others. It is inspiring writing like always, but as a longtime reader, this is not among his best books.

Wise read
This is one such book that is short but will stay with you once you are done. It's a good way to analyse when you are supposed to take pivot. Most importantly it makes you think which is the best part.

A different perspective on quitting
Gives you a perspective to decide on the choice of when to quit and when to stick. To summarise the message of this book: Winners quit all the time. It's just that they quit the right stuff, at the right time."Extraordinary benefits accrue to tiny minority of people who are able to push just a tiny bit longer than most"."Extraordinary benefits also accrue to the tiny majority with the guts to quit early and refocus their efforts on something new".The book becomes repetitive at times, yet relevant.
