Coming back 6 years later to say it’s held up this far, 3 dogs, 2 kids, moved a few times. Completely worth it. Part of the bottom broke very recently, but nothing a little nail or wood glue couldn’t fix. It’s gone through the wringer and has been pulled on and pushed all around. Used as a laundry drying rack, makeshift table … would buy again, but it’s lasted this long.

I use these gates outside to prevent my small dog from using the steps ti our pool area. They do the job, look good and if I can easily move it to another area if needed. They are well made, sturdy and keeps my dog from using the steps

This pet gate is a lightweight gate that can be used for smaller animals. I wouldn’t use it for larger animals. The quality is as expected.

This gate is awesome. It looks nice, functions exactly as described super easy to use and move around, easy to open to walk through. It makes no noise unless you scrape it against the floor when moving it. It's a great gate! I have 2 Great Pyrenees and both respect boundaries well and this gate works perfectly to keep them out of my sewing and craft room when needed. The color is great. The height is perfect. It's easy to move around, zig zah etc to get it in the position you want. I love this gate!! it is also light weight It was a very good price and definitely worth it. I would definitely purchase again and I do recommend. If you've been browsing and can't decide on one, this is it!

My cat used to like to run out our front door and down our steps (she is an inside cat with no claws and caused us older folks a great deal of distress trying to get her back in), but once I got this gate set up (no assembly required) and put it across the top of the stairs, it has stopped her in her tracks COLD. She has tried escaping about 6 times now, stops cold and confused looking at this gate and turns around and goes back inside. She has basically stopped trying! I love that it is so easy to move around, I make it zig-zag like in the picture most of the time as it supports itself easily. Just one note ... the wind can push it over, especially if it is straight across, since it is pretty light and there is nothing holding it strong in place other than how you have angled it or leaned it against walls, etc. Love that I do not have to attach it to anything to stop her escape plans!!

I got this on sale and it’s definitely been helpful around the house keeping our small dogs in (or out!) of certain area. It’s light and easy to move, and if set up correctly, it’s difficult to knock over. As some other commenters have mentioned, it does smell very strongly of must or mold. The smell has dissipated since I’ve had it, but it was so strong for the first month I put it in the garage to air out (this didn’t work). If you’re not sensitive to scent, this is a great contraption. But I personally would not order a second one.

I purchased this pet gate primarily for light separation in my home, and overall I am really happy with it. I ordered the light blue color and it is gorgeous. It works perfectly with my gray color scheme and looks much nicer than most pet gates I have seen. The biggest positives for me are convenience and design. It arrived fully assembled, which I loved. I did not have to put anything together at all. It is very easy to use since it slides accordion-style side to side, so taking it up or putting it away takes seconds. It has been especially helpful for blocking off the stairs and keeping my smaller dogs from going up and down when I need some separation. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is very lightweight. My golden retriever can easily move it with his nose, which somewhat defeats the purpose if you are trying to contain a larger or stronger dog. For that reason, I would not recommend it as a secure barrier for big dogs. That said, for visual separation, light containment, or keeping smaller pets out of certain areas, it does the job well and looks great doing it. Delivery was fast, setup was effortless, and aesthetically it was exactly what I was looking for.

We use this to stop our 4yr old “trained” rottie from accessing the stairs and would not be an obstacle for him if he decided to jump it or push it out the way. It’s freestanding which means we can move it around the house as needed. We’ve had it for some time now and it remains in excellent condition.
