Great little tool
I bought this to engrave a pint glass as a birthday gift. I tried it first on the side of a honey jar I had in the kitchen. It comes with two diamond heads, batteries and other accessories. Well worth that price tag. It's better to practice first and use on the actual item you want to engrave once you feel confident with it but it is very easy to use and quite therapeutic if I'm being honest. I really enjoyed it and I think I didn't do too bad for my first time. I wore safety glasses and a mask for precaution although it doesn't say it's necessary but I would recommend it especially when engraving glass. Definitely recommend.

Engraver Pen
This item is only for small jobs. It did a dog tag but then broke. You get what you pay for.

Does an OK job
This is suitable to engrave aluminium but I tried stainless steel tags and this barely scratched it. ( probably needs chemical etching ) A small niggle is you have to hold the on button in to keep it running which makes it awkward to engrave accurately. Unfortunately, this is something you would find out after buying and using. It comes with various etching bits and a small sanding bit with 6 sanding attachments. Also various templates. Overall, it's good value but it does have a few limitations.

Excellent. Did a couple of small jobs.
The first engraving pen sent didn't power on, however the seller promptly sent another that world well. It works well on metal and glass. I've not tested on other mediums. Thanks seller. Regards

Great little label engraver
Ordered with a little trepidation having read some of the reviews. Turns out product is really good - my understanding of engraving is to use the least pressure possible - to lightly abraide the top surface. Used the sound as feedback on how hard I was pressing. Have used the thinnest tip to produce the plant labels in the pics - first was freehand, the second using the smallest stencil. Very easy to use, just have to remember light pressure and go slow.

Great but not worth it
It is a great engraving pen to start with but unfortunately it only works for 3 days then gives up. I got to practise a couple of small designs and got half way through a new one and it cut out. Tried changing batteries, left it overnight incase it was not used to being used, still nothing. Very disappointed.

Good job..
So far, this little engraver has done well, excellent value for money. Yes, it's early days yet & I've only had occasion to use it a few times but I'm impressed. It is, as was stated in the description, high speed & it's very effective because of it. This particular engraver comes well kitted-out with 6 diamond-tipped bits in a little useful tube & a mini Allen key. I'm thinking that if it's treated with a little respect it should last well.. Having said that if I do run into real problems with it ie. not caused by user abuse, I'll come back to give an update.. Thank you.
